I'm a mac user and I use excel a lot, help

Hi!

I have to use excel a lot for work and for school, the only problem is that I'm a mac user! Numbers ( the excel version for mac) lacks of formulas, microsoft office for mac sucks big time, i had 2003 and 2008 and both of them suck! and yesterday I read 33 developers left openoffice.

I guess microsoft won and I will have to get a netbook with windows just to use excel only, or what would you do?
