This is misleading and a great example of negative spin, should read more like “Facebook to not include newly rigorous european privacy enhancements”

The problem is that people don’t understand what GDRP is. It’s much more than just how you ask people for access to their private data...there is a whole legal system behind it that’s very specific to how the EU works. It makes no sense to ship GDRP globally...what does make sense is to make the privacy controls available globally and as far as I understand Facebook is doing that
