This is ridiculous. Oriental Review and Geopolitica are niche blogs with a very small reach. We are not talking about Moon of Alabama or Unz Review size here, they are really small.

All that is missing is a reference to Potemkin villages.
This again. No examples, just spin. I'm not sure what is going on in Russia regarding COVID, but I do remember an early full closure of borders with China, now they close entry to all foreign nationals, they are building emergency hospitals and so on.
It seems they are taking this threat at least somewhat seriously.

If “Diversity in Open Source Is Even Worse Than in Tech Overall” and there are less barriers to participation in Open Source it could be that this "lack of diversity" accurately reflects the interests and capabilities of the different groups?
It could be that the different kinds of humans are not identical and given an even playing field different outcomes will result.
It could also be that the lack of diversity in tech is the mirror image of the lack of diversity in other fields such as healthcare and education.
If that is so it could be that the "lack of diversity" is the result of diversity in human inclinations and it would only be stamped out through increasingly authoritarian measures.

Using a unique data set we link the race of police officers who kill suspects with the race of those who are killed across the United States. We have data on a total of 2,699 fatal police killings for the years 2013 to 2015. This is 1,333 more killings by police than is provided by the FBI data on justifiable police homicides. When either the violent crime rate or the demographics of a city are accounted for, we find that white police officers are not significantly more likely to kill a black suspect. For the estimates where we know the race of the officer who killed the suspect, the ratio of the rate that blacks are killed by black versus white officers is large — ranging from 3 to 5 times larger. However, because the media may under report the officer’s race when black offic-ers are involved, other results that account for the fact that a disproportionate number of the un-known race officers may be more reliable. They indicate no statistically significant difference be-tween killings of black suspects by black and white officers. These findings are inconsistent with taste-based racial discrimination against blacks by white police officers. I have been a Outsystems developer for the last 10 years. I feel quite comfortable about my future prospects, but I live in Portugal where Outsystems has 100% penetration in large companies. I think there is no chance of the company going out of business since so many big customers depend on it.
The platform is expanding fast and lately it's getting harder to find developers for my teams. Many of the most experienced developers are working on project abroad where rates are much higher (Benelux, the Gulf, United States).
As a developer platform it really makes you more productive. I was working with .NET before and I think I became 10 times more productive (of course this could mean that I sucked as a .NET developer).
However licensing is expensive, so it's not for every customer and also not for every project. For enterprise business apps that need to change often I know nothing better.
