Hi Peter, thank you so much for doing this.
I'm a Mexican currently going through the Green Card process, In the part where Form I-140 has been approved and form I-485 will be filled in October according to the company I work for lawyers.
Over the past 3 years, there have been layoffs in my department around October (start of Fiscal Year), last year the company let go key people that otherwise nobody ever suspected they would be laid off. I'm concerned this year I may get laid off, if that were to happen, how would my green card process be affected, considering I'm still holding a valid H-1B visa?
For that to be true, Ripple's market cap would have to be in the trillions unless they invested half a million or even a quarter of a million dollars.
The Inbox webapp always worked incredibly slowly for me on Firefox but fast on Chrome. Now I only use the Android app (and only when I need to use the snooze or Trips features) for everything else I use Gmail webapp on Firefox

Looks like I wasted $10. My only hope is that with 143m affected people, they just skip to the next one if they encounter a Credit Freeze.
I've been using DDG for trivial queries, I tried using it for more complex ones but the results were very poor. Since DDG is my default all I have to do is add a g! at the end to get Google results.
What's stopping Kite from grabbing one of your Vim plugins and adding telemetry to it?
Will there be upsides to adding it to other plugins though?
I really don't like the idea of having to wonder if the next plug-in/editor/IDE/etc I use is compromised by Kite or any other shady phone-home companies.
They have removed the file already https://github.com/SideBarEnhancements-org/SideBarEnhancemen... but I wouldn't be surprised if they compromised more plug-ins and we just haven't found out yet
Perhaps it's not wasting any network resources but it's definitely consuming battery and processing power to keep retrying those requests.
You probably copied the url, I think tortoisesvn puts the content of the clipboard as repository url if it's a valid url.
I'm really curious how they could adapt Foundation to TV, I really liked the books but I think the Robot Series (Caves of Steel, Naked Sun, Robots of Dawn) lend more to a TV adaptation.

Looking at mine I see:
* My Google searches, this includes audio searches and it let me play the audio.
* Watched Youtube videos
* Pages viewed on Chrome
I don't see any Android activity besides the google searches, could be because I'm using Sultan's CyanogenMod.
He probably meant Hacker News, just checked and HN is verified by Comodo and LetsEncrypt by IdenTrust.
Because there's no API, so they have to scrape your transactions off the bank's sites, and they have to log-in using your credentials for that.
Some people use it to meet minimum spends for credit card sign-up bonuses.
