SPF would be a good start, most mail transport systems will check it. DKIM and then dmarc gets a little deeper down the rabbit hole but both still very worth it.
Would love to see more details on this. I've checked the one (and only) blog entry from the creator... not much there either. Call me a skeptic, but shouldn't there be more detail when people are being asked to help fund this.
Lovely idea for a product though, and definitely doable with todays off the shelf tech.
Glad you posted that, I knew something was clearly out of whack with his compensation just based on revenue alone it did not make sense.
The article tries to paint an elaborate picture, but ultimately fails on all counts to point out the most basic problem with this story and that might have shed additional light on his motivations.
Oracle deserves to die in a fire for everything they've done, and more importantly not done, to the open-source movement.
Not to mention Java and especially Sun - buying a competitor to destroy them and screw over their existing customers is a monumental dick move. I hope they get exposed for the pile of shit company they've become.
Gonna be hard to compete with the likes of Cisco Nexus... I mean after almost 5 years of the Nexus 1000V platform they come to the table with an "open-source" software platform to be used on hardware that no one is currently using?
I could see this getting traction if they announced it was compatible with some of the newer switches

Fair point, my HQ is in NYC I can attest to the 9 to 5 as well. I think it has more to do with transit scheduling than anything. Then again Paris is extremely expensive to live in the Metro area as well so that may have something to do with my experience as well.

The problem is work ethic. I've been to France on business on 2-week stints about a dozen times, and I can tell you from my experience they do not want to work hard -- at anything. 6hr workdays, and at LEAST 1hr for lunch and worst of all they look at you like you are the crazy one for wanting to get more done each day.
