Strangely enough, plant-based doesn't necessarily mean vegan. Some 'plant-based' diets include eggs and dairy at times. I've yet to find a plant-based food item that wasn't vegan though, so perhaps the diet aspect needs further refining.

Similar to how some companies avoid putting the word ‘vegan’ on clearly vegan products. Even these new meat alternatives. There was a story a few years back about how half of the Girl Scout cookies are vegan but the soccer mom sellers didn’t want the logo on the product in case it reduced sales. Initially some said vegan on the box and those were crossed out to hide it!
So the bizarre animal market may just be a fall guy and a deadly pathogen escaped containment?
Narrator: they only made 12.
While humans try to predict the most horrific dystopian futures, animals are living that nightmare today.
Modern day slave ships. I’m sure the sheep are insured and it’s more profitable to leave them to drown.
I've seen this vehicle before, in the 2018 film 'Upgrade': https://www.imcdb.org/v001169007.html
I'd easily drop $1000 for a system if they announce L4D VR!
Now make a Left 4 Dead VR game and I'm sold!
The lengths people go to try and negate the benefits of plant-based foods is pretty impressive. A town of 5000 in Indonesia making the NYT? Bravo sir, bravo!
Considering that the Impossible Burger is not vegan (it was tested on animals), the buns and sauces it comes with are not vegan, and the burger is cooked alongside dead meat, absolutely nothing about this is aimed at vegans. It's a plant-based burger for meat eaters. I very much doubt that the man behind the lawsuit is a legit vegan as this is beyond dumb.
Animal testing is not now, or has ever been, considered vegan. Veganism isn't a diet.
No legit serious vegan would step foot inside Burger King. The 'Impossible Burger' isn't even vegan to start with! https://www.peta.org/blog/why-it-is-impossible-for-peta-to-g...
What globe?
I’m honestly surprised that they still exist. When they introduced all those mail-in rebates it pissed a lot of people off. Making your customers jump through so many hoops to end up with missing or denied rebates is one sure fire way to lose your base.
Karma Police... arrest this man!
Maybe don't build a city on 118 small islands and expect the water levels to never ever change? Seems more like a failure to plan for the future.
Chipotle giving health advice is a nice wrap to 2019. The company with continuous food poisoning outbreaks. The company where even the bowls are laden with cancer-causing chemicals. Pass.
Nothing combats sexism quite like... more sexism!
Also, giving preferential hiring to POC over whites to meet quotas is racism. It’s really that simple.
Here’s what you do: hire the best person for the job and don’t discriminate.
How long before the Communist Party hijacks these cars to transport their owners to re-education camps? Or perhaps a list of places the car refuses to go to or stop at?
At some point in the future I believe there will be insurance comparison sites dealing with health, and using this ‘private’ data to tailor quotes to each customer. Zero privacy. Then comes spam coupons for Viagra and low cost hemorrhoid treatments.
Not the one I have. It just kinda bumps all over the place like it has no memory but it does clean the floors so it’s not a total loss!
One of the more advanced Roomba's I looked at required it to be online to setup and function. Ended up getting the cheap offline model which does the job without the security risks.
All the Stasi were missing were computers to make sense of all the information and connect the dots. Modern surveillance is insanely intrusive!
I would assume it can and will be accessed/hacked. There were security concerns about Roomba’s years ago where they draw a detailed map of your home and the scheduling would allow someone to figure out when the home would be empty. Pretty creepy stuff!
Nothing that the earth hasn't been through before, at much higher degrees. The earth will be fine and will recover. Humans, hopefully, will not.
The future: Amazon launches it's own maps service where phone app users earn credit by allowing drones to hitch a ride on your car, cutting their flight times and increasing their reach.
It always amazes me when cannibals describe human flesh as tasting like pork or chicken, yet most people read that and still don't question why it's OK to eat animals. These poor people needed to eat human flesh to survive. We don't need animal flesh to survive.
'But bro, where do you get your choline?'
These anti-vegan and anti-vegetarian pieces always have clear ties to the meat and dairy industries.
Anyway, this rebuttal is spot on: https://medium.com/@Kahn642/the-choline-vegan-crisis-a-pseud...
