Nobody is arguing against car usage in the country side. People are arguing against car dependency in cities and suburbs.
+1 in my experience most people that criticize scrum simply have a bad experience with a half baked implementation of scrum.
If it's implemented well it's fantastic. You get to focus on the important stuff during the sprint. Issues tend to get caught early on because experienced team members chime in during planning poker. The whole team takes responsibility for the sprint together. This leads to lots of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
Once the team velocity is predictable it also becomes much easier to ask for x amount of time per week for refactoring work as the impact to project timelines can be easily quantified.

Roads are absolutely not financed by gasoline taxes. They are massively subsidized by the federal government. Watch some videos about Strong Towns to learn about the problems that is causing in regions that are not experiencing constant growth.

Sure a 15 minute city means there will be some areas you won't be able to drive to anymore. So what? You'd be able to walk to them in <15 min. Nobody is going to stop people from driving out of town to go camping.
Not everyone has to live within 15 min of their job, just most people or at least significantly more people than now. There will always be exceptions. The exception proves the rule as they say.
You'll find plenty of people cycling in Dedemsvaart itself though. Nobody is claiming cars don't have their place. It just shouldn't be the default mode - or even worse, the only viable option - for every single trip.
Cycling is ubiquitous in the Netherlands though. Even in small towns. The only place where it's not convenient is if you're living out in the fields in say Flevoland.
Well it seems you're criticizing Americans' rosy view of Dutch public infrastructure without realizing how absurd the US is in terms of infrastructure. I challenge you to visit the US and not use a car at all. In many cities you wouldn't even be able to get out of the airport. Yet Schiphol has a massive station underneath it with trains that can take you, not only to Amsterdam, but to virtually any city and even small town in the country.

Yup, part of it is definitely that millennials have had it bashed in to them that it's super easy to get pregnant so never have sex without precautions and only stay thinking about having kids when you're "ready". Many millenials wait until they're thirty and probably think that they should be able to get pregnant in one or two months, when it can easily take half a year. At least that was my own personal experience trying to get pregnant. It became pretty stressful after trying a few cycles with no result.

It is not because of this, but because Amsterdam created entirely separate bicycle routes that have grease separated intersections with main roads for cars. So they simply don't have as many traffic lights for bikes because of that. Also, even if the are traffic lights they're much smarter at adapting to traffic and have much faster phases than in America.
avoid any intersections with other users and flow interruptions: people should not cross streets, they should pass over them on bridges.
No, the cars should be the ones going over bridges or through tunnels. Doing it the other way around is prioritizing cars and dehumanizing pedestrians and cyclists.
Yes and we need to end the weapons race of ever increasing car sizes. It makes accidents much more deadly, uses much more energy to move people and takes up unnecessarily large amounts of space in our cities.
If there's that much traffic, a four way stop will be even worse than a roundabout. You'll need a turbo roundabout, traffic lights or grade separated intersections in that case.
Four way stops are one of the dumbest inventions of man kind that are way over used in North America. Everyone has to stop all the time and it leads to scary situations at 2 way stops because people don't expect those anymore.

Low traffic + low speed: raised intersections where right goes first.
Medium traffic + medium speed: priority road with yield signs on side streets and roundabouts
High traffic + medium speed: traffic lights
High traffic + high speed: grade separated intersections

Yes, land lords are quite literally rent-seeking. They don't provide any value to society and just leech off of people who are poorer than themselves. All rental housing property should be owned by non-profit organizations.
Both are definitely a factor, but don't forget that a lot of the irritate driving behavior is because in America people are forced to drive. Even if they don't want to or really shouldn't be driving, they still have to drive to get around town. Here is a video that explains it further:

I would like to see a proper language with built in support for Unix Shell commands. Similar to bash or perl with a use Shell import, but without the limitations of bash or the craziness of perl.
