What would that look like? A first thought would be a controller with storage that would 'dock' into various screen sizes and case molds?

I think the release of the TR-1000 has brought it back around a bit. Not that it ever went completely away as was stated previously. Side by side, they are an effective combo.

This will be the answer as we move away from screens as phones. Smart watches have slowly edged in, but I foresee some 'no screen' being the answer to payments, access control, etc
