If it is I think the term needs to be reviewed. In fact if people want to get sensitive about their racial identity then they need to focus on the actual words and tone.

Especially when it seems like alot of the time people are called racist or sexist for sharing a viewpoint that in their view is accurate.

I have to be honest 100% of the games I play with loot boxes don’t let you trade the rewards. So that is different because to me loot boxes are just a different way to get cosmetics that I can’t buy with real money from other ppl. That means I don’t view them as having value to anyone but myself.

That is true, I’d be more curious about the food source evolution. Even in this article the writer pointed out that it was a tradition and that sourcing the wasps was getting harder each year due to pesticides. Does this mean culturally they have moved past eating wasps and moved on to more “normal” food sources? I’ve never thought of eating insects as a primary source of food for a culture unless they were poor and couldn’t afford better foods.

I have not had that experience, generally I don’t see ads thanks to adblockers, and the platform just works and supports almost 100% of all apps. It is also fast, and I’m sure Linux could be faster but I feel it’s lacking features and support for most games and software that I use (making it easy to see why it could run faster).

Well but at the same time reviews on those platforms are opinion related to services rendered. I suppose it’s fair to say that comments can be worded in a better way in order to avoid something like this. It could also see the going after Google and other services that offer a review platform because I feel there should be a legal warning shown before posting a review if it is no longer taken as opinion and instead is considered factual. This also somehow feels like a win for companies like Comcast/Xfinity that are often reviewed terribly.

Your second sentence doesn’t make sense because their post presented a lot of good points that move the argument past a “I don’t like it so it’s bad” argument. To knock it up another notch those same points could be applied to Linux over Windows. Market (user) adoption is the only real metric to measure against. The argument I submit is that a tool like Gimp can’t be considered better if it can’t claim the market to prove it, if it was fundamentally better at its core adoption would pass the non open source leader.

If anything it should be commended that our media and leadership has the luxury to complain about these “issues” that affect less then 5% of the population.

True, I think the rhetoric and The article are focused on killing the negative concepts around remote. To the extreme in pointing out that most of the common tropes are not accurate. The problem is I don’t think anti-remote people understand that in some cases there whole team may want to be remote 100% of the time, and that it’s not right to be in the mindset that those team members should be forced to come into an office to satisfying there need for socialization, in fact unfortunately in that situation maybe they need to change fields or companies.

But it also leaves you hanging, I bet more shows get dropped because people watch a filler episode and feel like they spent a week getting excited for no reason, or worse the anticipation creates a recipe for letdown. Like watching porn before having sex.

Gross. Individuals are responsible for avoiding spoilers, not the community. Having a fixed time when episodes become available probably causes more spoilers anyway, once that time passes it’s open season.

Plus that’s how disappointment and resentment are formed. You wait a week to watch the episode and then they kill off all the WW in a single episode, makes the years of build up feel like shit. If I could binge the season from the start I might not have stopped watching it because you are not sitting there almost expecting a letdown for the next week.

I think what they were saying is this company puts off snake oil vibes. Desktops still exist! In fact streamers and PC gamers use them! I don’t really play games on my phone I think the people that do are usually playing games because it’s convenient or prioritized in cost over desktops, since everyone believes they and there kids need phones.
