Where does tylenol fit?
It's kind of like trying to shutdown all muslim media after 911 because some terrorist will be using it to inspire.
I believe deplatforming of flat earthers is already happening. Anyone who holds that position is not allowed on television and not allowed to run national tv ads and wouldn't be allowed to teach.
Free speech is a concept that exists outside of the US.
Free speech is about being able to express ideas and these can be supressed by private entities, communities or a number of non-government entities like a church.
"So then there is nothing at all to fear from Parler and all of the efforts to keep it offline are misguided?"
If you fear Parler being online, you are being tricked by the media.
I don't think it is wise because whoever is in power will change fringe groups who need to be censored. Today it's the far right, during wwii it was anyone from Japan tomorrow it could be blm or women with tails. The one thing we know is it will change.
What's important is to being as open as possible and having open structures.
All of these are education problems not free speech problems. Speech is a signal not something to be repressed
not if you buy the right name.

Australia is part of the 5 eyes alliance which automatically shares data between the US/Canada/UK/New Zealand which means it is a safe bet that the US can get this data as easily as it would be on it's own soil.
As an American storing data in Australia creates another problem. The US can't spy in the US on it's own citizens but another country can at the request of the US government and will report everything back to the US.
I would pick Russia or China first...
Or just use protonmail which is designed to offer some protection.
I had a look at the website. They are looking at a limited number of accounts and trying to go deep connecting real world data for high profile cases.
Scaling that to every taxpayer or even every taxpayer in the largest apartment in Boise would be impossible using the same techniques.
Confirmations can take a day.. 10 minutes would be like an etransfer.
Your sister grew up with you and went through the same schooling as you.
Doesn't she deserve to be heard? By labeling her a antivaxer and ignoring her based on that label you effectively are closing your mind to her.
You hurt the traders and actually make the network super cheap and fast that it can be used to buy drugs again.
I'm sure they could watch a few known wallets but how do they watch everyone globally while identifying and connecting Americans? Now throw in different kind of coins and what you are assuming is possible is not possible.
That would cover users who are poor at managing software. Being able to turn them off would require someone to be good at managing software. Why remove control from those users?
Most people who are idiots are not terrorists either.
On average a terrorist would be smarter than the average person. Terrorists are highly motiviated individuals, they can deeply understand an ideology and they activity learn/train in specialized skills. Compared to the average person their IQ would be 20 points higher.
Being a terrorist isn't easy. It's not a job for everyone.
It would be a great place for pirate open source.
Linux vs FreeBsd?
Open vs Star Office?
kde vs gnome
python 2 vs 3?
We do. We want to see github or anyone defend any fake lawsuit against them.
That seems like the wrong type of job to outsource. You outsource for expert help. This can be done in house with more control over when work occurs to sync with low traffic volume times.
Who builds your roads? You contract out road building because it's too difficult for the government to do?
Where do you live?
Better didn't factor in for the doctor at any cost even free.
This tech could be used to replace the function of this doctor making them less useful.
I've seen this happen and the entire process of adding new drugs and waiting a week or more between visits seems cruel.
And you back it up with proof but you hear I don't care about better treatment I care about prescribing what I feel works best and what pays best. Science be damned.
There in a nutshell is the problem with healthcare. Doctors care about different outcomes. Doctors have this image that they care about your best health outcome but they would always trade an extra dollar over any patient outcome as long as they are legally within guidelines.
As a developer. I went to school for a period of time. I have had a 20 year career of sucessful development jobs/projects.
If someone walked in without any experience but showed me a better way to develop a project through understandable datapoints I would listen and not ignore them because I was somehow all knowing. I may even buy. Why are Doctors different?
This makes total sense. 10% of your users are superfans they read / understand everything you publish. They are so into it they give support (word of mouth, helping onboard others, bug patches, they will test alpha builds and give money/time where possible).
90% of users don't understand your product as well. They haven't totally bought in. They will need more support/handholding in order to convert. People are trying to get your product to work for their situation and if they can't 90% will go away and 10% will ask (usually dumb questions).
Your unhappy with the 10% who can't get it working but want your product to work enough to bother to ask?
I guess you can feel that way. Those 10% do represent an opportunity to get a group of people who want to use your product to onboard. The ones who tried and failed and never asked a question will probably never come back. If you ultimately want more support you are going to need to convert this group (or invest more time in advertising hoping to get more superusers/fanboys)
If you find a job you will be unhappy until you restart a business.
If you take a loan and push on in a field where you go head to head with too many whales and you will lose everything and maybe never recover.
You could pivot.
You could go from startup to lifestyle business.
Otherwise it sounds like you need a new/different business strategy. Is the opportunity really there with a walkable path?
The funded ones with the 2 year timelines generally are. But most startups are more bootstrap/angel investor with a bright owner who has a fatal flaw.
I picked out that China is refusing US trash this year. I wonder how true and what impact that may have.
They removed this feature and I like the rollover previews. Where can you change this?
And increase the base price of materials to outset gains but hopefully create a scale for materials that reduces price over time.
