I was thinking about this the other day when watching a video about Chernobyl.

They flew countless helicopters over the exposed reactor core and because this was 1986, helicopters didn't have a million sensors or electronics in it. It was entirely mechanical. Effectively all in-use aircraft nowadays could not complete such a mission as the electronics would be rendered null almost instantaneously, even with ECC, etc.

Do these high energy lasers fry the electronics, or are they able to simply ignite and burn holes through the aircraft?

Because 'Teams' isn't just a simple meeting application. It's very feature rich. If you ever have to deal with the admin.teams.microsoft portal you'll know how many options and toggles it has.

Flagship Samsung from the last 3 years. I have to expose myself to 2G, despite no 2G towers being active in my country. We don't even have 3G anymore either.

Not a foolproof solution though, you don't want to be constantly updating your hosts file every time Microsoft changes an endpoint to rename their product offering for the 3rd time this year.

Of course this is where PiHole or some other DNS solution comes in, but ultimately a full uninstall would be preferable.

I recently switched to Fedora. I have enjoyed it thoroughly although I am a little skeptical how the upgrade process for Fedora will go when Fedora 44 eventually comes out.

One of the concerns is the package delays on the RPM Fusion repo. I've heard it can take weeks before updated packages are shipped, a package without a valid Fedora 44 compatible package will prevent the update from being installed.

COPR is another can of worms, most people just recommend disabling all COPR packages before upgrading.

What can Terra offer me? How can I prevent dependency hell? What is the upgrade process like when lots of Terra packages are installed?

This problem is really bad at my work.

We commonly run into finance issues about half way through the year. We get to the point where 10x HDMI cables get declined from Finance and we get reprimanded for not tracking where each HDMI or Ethernet Cable go. Near to the end of the year, the budget refreshes and finance (without consultation to us) ends up buying a bunch of random stuff.

There is seatbelt cameras in Australia.

In 2014 Gabe founded a Racing Team which helps support Grassroots motorsports, the Heart of Racing Team also supports the Seattle Children's Hospital. Game is also the co-founder of a company called foundry10, which is an education research organization focused on youth philanthropy.

Gabe is not the evil person you are trying to make him out to be. He has visited numerous schools, colleges and universities and done free talks out of goodwill. He has put millions into research and development of Linux software for the bettering of Linux community as a whole. He doesn't "Just like Linux", through his investments and care for the Linux community, Valve has made Linux a viable gaming platform, which it would be likely a decade behind without his investments.

You clearly are very misinformed on how Valve operates and runs the competitive CS2 environment.

Valve does not require a Kernel Level Anti-Cheat for "first party" tournaments. It is not stipulated anywhere in the Major Rulebook: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/counter-strike_rules_and_re...

The reason third-party anti-cheats are commonplace at these events is because most tournaments opt to use Faceit or similar for game scheduling. This was the case before VRS (with RMRs) and the TO could choose an anti-cheat of their choosing. This always ended up being Faceit AC or whatever platform the matches are scheduled via (For example, PGL used Challenger Mode, which used Akros Anti-Cheat). ESL of course uses Faceit because (ESL Faceit Group).

You do not understand how Majors are run. It is very hands off from Valve. Only recently, with the introduction of VRS has Valve started controlling and implementing dedicated rules into the ecosystem for TOs.

Battlefield 6 being "highly optimized" is a joke.

Runs pretty poorly on a RTX 4080 with 5800X3D @ 1440p.

It also legitimately looks worse than the Battlefields that predate it, even up to Battlefield 1, which is over a decade old now.

A better example is Arc Raiders.

If by "evidence" you mean correlation.

There is a correlation about mothers taking acetaminophen leading to Autism. There is also a correlation about mothers drinking water and it leading to Autism.

You'd be competing with ASIC miners, which are 100x more cost effective per MH/s. You don't need 100,000GB of VRAM when mining GPU, therefore its waste.
