Finance, biology, CS, anything that uses vaguely statistical models and principles is fair game now?
I don’t hate physics, but if you stretch terms like that they tend to lose meaning.
Not to be dismissive, but through any “series of approximations and simplifications” you can go from anything to anything else.

Uhm, no. This has negatively and retroactively impacted my appreciation of the award. If I were in academic CS I would have blatantly rejected it. This is ridiculous.
