Nah, I think it is more common of a cultural thing in individualistic societies. I know plenty of people who are worried about the future outlook of others they have never met. For example what phones and social media is doing to our children, or the state of the economy for young people.

Laws are only as good as their enforcement, in business at least. Unfortunately I have seen first hand that no one cares about licensing if they can’t get caught.
Businesses licenses are good because you can offer support and other benefits to encourage payment.

Because its failure rate is too high. Beyond boilerplate code and CRUD apps, if I let AI run freely on the projects I maintain, I spend more time fixing its changes than if I just did it myself. It hallucinates functionally, it designs itself into corners, it does not follow my instructions, it writes too much code for simple features.
It’s fine at replacing what stack overflow did nearly a decade ago, but that isn’t really an improvement from my baseline.
I agree, I don’t like it as much as you do. I’m just saying nothing short of a mandated TPM will actually enforce this. I think they know that.

That’s a stretch. Sure many business _use_ OpenAI, but that does not an operational necessity. Especially given the competition.
I also think it is often momentum from “do you have a GitHub” questions you see in hiring.
There are many people who code to make cool stuff and enjoy sharing, but there is even more people who code to look good on CV.

Could another mitigation be polluting identities online with fake ones so that real identities become hard to sift out.
For example if I tell my bot to clone me 100x times on all my platforms, all with different facts or attributes, suddenly the real me becomes a lot harder to select. Or any attribute of mine at all becomes harder to corroborate.

That’s fine, static objects can be integrated in to sequences if each unit has enough positional accuracy.
My point is that if you interrupt the sequence by pushing it over or standing in front of it, the unit will not be able to recover or mitigate the issue. I’m not sure about the models in the video but they should enter a safe state, hopefully gracefully.
It’s not a 1:1 human motion capture to servo translation. There is some work done to fix Center of gravity like you said and issues with friction and momentum.
The hard part with “autonomy” is interpretation of the environment and feeding that back into some control loop to accomplish a goal in real time. That is why most of these demos are basically recordings of movements, like choreography.
That’s not pair programming as I use it. Pair programming is where two people work on the same code directly and bounce ideas or critique each other.
