Nobody cares about "legit people", the only thing that matters is that people we don't like suffer.

I demand my right to pay 3x more for AI access.

I also heard that K3 stole the 2020 election, among other things.
I have been trying to square such suggestions for happiness with G.B. Shaw's quote:
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man."
The steps towards happiness basically require accepting the world as is and appreciating it as is. Does that mean happy people are reasonable? And if they are, does that mean that happy people do not drive progress? Are there happy AND unreasonable people?
Yes, please point to the statistics showing that most people on Earth are depressed.
Did you try n*m where n=10 and m=x?
People should be allowed to use any tools they find useful, and their writing should be judged on quality.
I am working on a browser extension to help with that. Basically it interposes on any text field and canvas and if user pastes a large amount of text (copied form example from a chat bot), the extension will "replay" that text at normal, human-editing pace, and introduce typos that are fixed through later edits.
It's hard to go look in the app store and see what a dumpster fire it actually is and then claim Apple is trying. They aren't.
You cannot make that claim unless you know how many apps Apple has rejected for being garbage. On one hand, developers complain Apple runs all kinds of checks on their apps before publishing on the App Store. On the other hand, users complain that App Store has too many low-quality apps. Both can be true at the same time if the stream of apps is high volume and low quality.
You need at least 3 devs to keep adding popups to the app with offers, upgrades, and other "related content".
SWE-bench Verified was created to fix the problems of SWE-bench.
Then SWE-Bench Pro was created because SWE-bench Verified had flaws.
Now SWE-Bench Pro is shown to have flaws.
That provision did get removed, but only for ICE cars.
No, the parent used the word "bypassing", which implies someone being replaced by nothing.
Coding has stack overflow, what does, say, advertising use?
Advertising has centuries of print ads, 100 years of radio advertising, 70 years of TV commercials, etc. And modern AI does not necessarily need labeling.
They send me packages with contents I distribute to my friends and neighbors.
The difference is that a compiler is a rigorous, (nearly) determinisic, heavily tested artrifact built by expert humans.
How do you know your compiler is a rigurous and deterministic? Did you review all of its code?
Should we also go to ancient scrolls for learning, because videos are too easy? The poster showed you how they learn with the help of AI. You can learn from videos, they learn from AI. What's the problem?
Have you read any literature ever? Outside of technical and business docs..
It's true that Pentagon audits failed to account for hundreds of billions of dollars. https://econofact.org/factbrief/has-the-pentagon-failed-its-...
But I am sure future audits will succeed in tracking down all of the prompts used for AI-generated reports. /s
That's a starting point, but it seems the VW app is using a Google SDK for integrity checks, so maybe we need certain SDKs to be banned.
Sure the app is not required, though one loses on all of the remote-control functionality (remote start, remote climate control, etc.).
Maybe then app developers should be mandated to open fully their server-side protocols, so people can create apps for platforms that are not supported by default. No more undocumented APIs, anybody can get an API key, no API serving limits!
Answer from VW:
Please note that the use of the Volkswagen app is only supported on iOS devices and Android devices with supported operating system versions.
Is it time to mandate app developers support all operating systems for a device?

ChatGPT?
Not an actual joke, this was Trump's idea during his first term.
If you destroy the sensor network now, it is that much more expensive for a future administration to rebuild from scratch.
Services like Street View should have distance-based friction to preserve privacy. The further you are, the less (or at lower quality) should be available, to keep it proportional with the effort required to inspect the place in the real world.
How would the website validate how far I am from your neighborhood? What if I am your neighbor but I am traveling this week? Can I still check Street View of my neighborhood? This is how we get websites to require ID-based verification for everything.
"performative" = "ego-driven"
Coal-powered AI has fewer hallucinations.
ChatGPT has 112M monthly active users in US, https://searchlab.nl/en/statistics/chatgpt-statistics-2026#g...
Is is OK for them to build datacenters in US?
If a tool's output lacks any defined semantics, it isn’t a compiler.
Are you claiming that the natural language of the LLM output (e.g., English, Chinese) does not have semantics?? Someone should tell all the people cited at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formal_semantics_(natural_lang...
