Cant be bothered seems more likely than can't figure something out. LaTeX has a huge stack exchange community and templates out the wazoo. No reason to think they can't accomplish everything they need, in a realistic context. LaTeX isn't for one time use, it's an investment that returns massively.

This seems pointless. You can have a modern UI for neovim, they literally have a section on their github page showing you the alternatives. Pick Rust, not electron, and you won't have to do any funky config stuff.

I'd suggest trying MSI's app player. It should play everything, but it's not as granular controlled as LDplayer. Based on Bluestacks
