Not true, with a $1200 ($800 renewal) msdn subscription "Visual Studio Professional with MSDN" you should have access to 5 copies of every operating system and server software + professional versions of all Visual studio packages.
I find that it depends on your seating position when reading. If you sit upright, it would be easy to hold the device with one hand and swipe with the other. I however often find myself laying on my side reading, this makes swiping quite a lot harder.
I guessing they would like to run some apps that aren't arm compatible, most desktop apps aren't yet. With the usual price tag sony puts on their computers, I'm guessing that they will market it as a touch screen desktop. Like the HP media center pcs.
I have no problem with relative time stamps. They are conceptually easier for me to relate than absolute time stamps.
What does annoy me though is when you have 05-06-12, is that dd-mm-yy or mm-dd-yy?
If all they want to do is question him, they can easily do that without extraditing him. That said, I don't know the details of the case nor any of the evidence. For me it looks like this could have been easily solved using technology, but someone is not willing, and that makes it smell like politics.
