People like this live in the stone age

The exact opposite actually starbucks and others that are similar are for people who aren't stuck up and have things to get done so they need something quick since they didn't have time to make it at home.
Coffee is for caffeine to get work done, to me an iced latte or ice coffee from Starbucks tastes just fine compared some $10 latte at some over hyped coffee shop.
Corona and lime is good also not sure why people hate on it. No one cares how cool the craft beer drinkers think they are.
Same, that is the one thing traveling did for me. After seeing and living in different countries i just have a new found appreciation and calmness to where from now. It’s like something i can’t describe but i just feel so comfortable and don't take things for granted anymore. You spend enough time in other countries and you realize how frustrating just simple daily things can be. There is really nowhere in the world like America.
They were just less sheltered. I mean many people in countries across the world live in worse conditions.
To be honest most people in America have become so comfortable that they just look for problems to make there lives seem harder than they really are now days.
I would be willing to bet people were also happier back then too.
It's cool thats why there needs to be no other reason.
Oh no the 3 line ai wrapper apps are panicking because they actually don't know to write any code.
You better watch out though I would actually be more worried with that type of relationship because your wife will now realize she has unlimited options and start to second guess. So many divorces happen now from things as simple as a facebook message leading to an affair.
That fear of missing out could hit hard and lots of people get blindsided by it.
You know there is more cereal than cinnamon toast crunch right
No i disagree has nothing to do with that. The downfall is when it became a way for people to make money. Monetizing social media ruined it plain and simple. Now it's just full of people spamming the same trends and posting anything to go viral. The fact we literally have a generation of people of average people who do cringey dances and cringey voice overs as a job is insane.
You could say the same about your brain. You predict the best thing to say at the moment all the time. You make predictions off everything you do.
Genuine question you like your social media filtered by someone who says what you're allowed to see?
Why Twitter is better now than before. I used to never use it and now i use it more than any other platform.
Don't really get why people are hating so much. Finally there is somewhere where people can post without being banned or having posts removed. Why do you want filtered social media it's fake.
I suspect because you have not done manual labor. When you really get in a routine, it just has this feeling at the end of the day after being outside in the sun or snow. It is nothing like sitting in front of a computer.
I firmly believe that in our dna we were wired to be outside most of the time.
Have you actually been to Tokyo? It's insanely crowded everywhere. Just walking across intersections and navigating train stations is insane. Hotels are the size of your closet and apartments are the size of your closet. Japan has one of the higher depression rates. If anything this proves high density cities are unhealthy.
No because screens are terrible for your mental health. Most kids will sit there 24 hours a day if no one teaches them self control. Screens destroy relationships, health, and most of your existence if you have no self control which 90% of people don't.
If you would travel to those places you would actually realize how depressing it actually is. They have some of the highest depression rates in the world. They overlfowing with people you can barely walk on sidewalks. Someone explain how that is peaceful and enjoyable to live in.
Your prompts are terrible, i can see why
I can guarantee for most people 95% of what anyone is doing has been done before. AI can do all that in no time at all. Give it a few years.
Why there fun to drive, are bigger and more room inside. Trucks are better especially in the snow, same with suvs.
I would say downtown is also subsidized by rural areas that require cars. The food you eat is not grown downtown, factories where the products are made that you use are not made downtown. Downtowns are very artificial and consumer oriented. The entirety of downtown couldn’t even exist with the the people living outside it making the food and products you use. Yet the areas outside downtown could easily exist without downtown.
Cramming as many people tightly packed into small cube apartments in one area so you can build a train or have a bus is highly detrimental to peoples mental health and every study proves this.
Space is important and cars solve this.
Why it's very practical. Lets say you live in the suburbs 30 minutes from downtown. You find a parking lot park your car and just walk wherever from there. At end of the day if your tired and the car is to far just get a lyft back.
Sitting on a train or bus with screaming kids and breathing everyones air is not something that enjoyable. I prefer my own car it's more freedom.
You still have that freedom to walk anywhere after parking you know. I have done this 100’s of times. Just park then from there go anywhere you want then just take a taxi or lyft back to your car. Public transport sucks, not sure why so many people people like it. Driving is much better unless you live in a large city like NY or LA. My own climate control, radio for music and podcasts, plus driving is therapeutic. I hate being around so many people packed in a train, airplane, bus.
Yeah for real, I there is so many tech people are sheltered now days that if anything difficult comes there way they can't handle it. 700k for an 8 hour a day job and claiming to be abused is ridiculous. It's fine for someone to say they don't want the job but claiming abused is something else. People work months away from there families to provide for them and make 10% of that wage.
Because you're not thinking 10 years out. At a certain point you will be able to copy any voice and any video of a person in realtime. It will be as simple as downloading an app. When AI has scanned your whole life's details and it can be found by anyone there will be no privacy left. Nothing will be trusted anymore.
You realize google probably has a 10x better AI then ChatGPT. They just arn’t publicizing it. Google has all the data. It's not even a competition. If bing adds it then google will simply add a better version of it.
I mean most of the time there running around breaking things and being loud wouldn't say that's great. It's better when there older.
Yeah for real I don't know why everybody is so impressed. Chatgpt is basically just copying what's already on the internet and rewording it. It's not self thinking and I personally think we will lose touch with different ideas from multiple sources and people because when an AI is only giving you one answer vs google giving you multiple opinions from different people it gives you more options.
Not to mention the copyright issues with this. It's just regurgitating what's already on the internet not sure why it's ok for them to copy people's work but if you do it you will get sued.
I disagree because it seems to me OP is to comfortable with his life. When you are to comfortable you can't appreciate life and the things you have. The reason some of you don't enjoy the things he listed or basically anything that puts your self out into the world is because you need to retrain your brain to enjoy things again. The hardest part is starting but once you get going it's easy. You need to create difficulties in your life to keep yourself from getting too comfortable. I have spent the past 4 years traveling living overseas in many countries dealing with covid regulations and all the hassles that came with it. I am glad i did it because now everything seems easy. Op's life sounds so relaxing to me.
Because when your in a third world countries and living in run down areas with no warm showers, no ac and there's giant cockroaches or other insects in your bed you 100% won't take things for granted again.
Even just being in America feels like i am so lucky and to be honest i have never been more grateful.
You know I am right that's you won't answer the question. You would really eliminate 40% of your business over a tweet. Ye merchandise would sell the same because nobody really cares about the tweet there just scared to get cancelled. Sales would be the exact same. No sane person wipes out 40% of there business unless there just scared. Cancel culture is toxic and bad for society.
So if you own a small business and one of your accounts makes up 40% of your business. And the owner tweeted one controversial tweet, your going to cancel the account and not do business with them. 100% no and no one would. It's entirely out of fear adidas did it plain and simple. People who don't want his shoes don't have to buy them but i can guarantee one tweet wouldn't have affected his sales at all. Which proves the people canceling aren't the ones who buy his product anyways. That's the point.
