Hey there! This is my blog post, and I just want to chime in and say that I don't believe this proposal is feasible at all for a few reasons. My main problem with it was the Zone Server, but there are plenty more problems that had already been debated ad nauseum over the last few months. I'm definitely familiar with the paid offerings in this space, but I will say it's cool to see an open source offering for the non-professional influencers to get started with

Been a long time fan of Ubiquiti, and I think this product will do particularly well in small-medium businesses. Think of the local marketing firm with 40 employees. They likely have an office with Unifi networking, and they LIKELY hire an MSP to do their IT work. An MSP will easily try to sell this as their storage solution since they can manage the infrastructure with one login to the UBNT dashboard.

This isn't terribly surprising. Americans either think AI is so good that it will replace their jobs, or AI is so bad that it will cause too many mistakes. Their beliefs aren't unfounded, but it gets more accurate by the quarter. I personally think it all just shifts - AI becomes much more reliable and accurate over time, and as such, we all use it to be 30-100% more effective at our work.

Well that's a lot of money. They must see this as a distribution pipeline for Grok?

Would it be hard to add a summarization feature? Or put an executive overview at the top of the transcript?

An audit log for AI coding is clever. I think the ability to encrypt-and-ship the logs (backups) on an interval will be really useful for organizations seeking something like SOC2 or ISO27001.
