Internal builds barely work with millions of dollars and man power invested. I can’t imagine anyone else outside of Msft being able to build Windows lol

It was acquired for the IP, not its earning potential, which in turn Hyundai would be able to monetize.
People said the same about solar, but alas like always, innovation kicks in the costs improve. Every piece of tech starts off expensive.
Are you a lawyer?
Second QuestDB PR piece today.
This sounds like privacy fear mongering What part of Apple’s business model would make them monetize user data through ads?
Yeah, I narrowly escaped a burning building. Freaky stuff.
Thank you dang
Half the people writing articles about these apps have never actually used them.
I think it would benefit you to read more about what can be considered an anti-trust issue: https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/competition-guidance/guide-a...
You can easily buy class 3 and 4 lasers which can permanently damage your eyes. I have one for astrophotography alignment. So yes, the protestors are definitely using harmful lasers, as well as the police I’m sure.

It’s a massive money drain out of Australia. Look at how aggressively China protects its businesses by blocking Facebook etc from operating in its borders.
Aslema!
That’s like saying paying for a trainer to help you run 10 miles is like paying someone to tell you to run in around a track N times. There’s nuance at all levels: safety, motivation, guidance etc
It’s not. When I first walked into the workshop yoga center I was like none of these people have their heads screwed on right. I proceeded the breathework workshop, mostly out of curiosity, and it was transformative. I’m a convert.
I feel like the continual development of MacOS is making it worse and worse. Similar to Windows, where every extra feature causes more and more complications.
But alas the 1000s of engineers gotta be put to work somehow.
Thanos is that you?
Microsoft is incredibly anal about GDPR. I doubt they’re committing a violation here.
Living overseas I noticed that other countries are much more family oriented. Here in the states (at least on East/west coasts) people seem to prioritize work and career more.
Just heard the idea for this on a podcast a month ago! On the My First Million podcast
After traveling to 30+ countries and living overseas, there’s definitely an attitude difference. My mom growing up had no running water in a village, yet loved the huge family she was a part of. Now she’s in the states and deals with loneliness on a daily basis
Eric is under appreciated in the same way Steve Blank is under appreciated. They were very early advocates of lean methodologies and customer development (now called finding “product market fit” by the cool kids and VCs who wanted to create their own term).
I’ve had that exact opinion of him for years.
How does a $40mm fund w/ a 2% management fee support ~20 employees ($80,000/head)?
Reposting an old comment on Levan’s lawyers thoughts:
A friend of mine heard his personal attorney speak at a law school class. Even his attorney thought Anthony was a “jackass” for stealing the IP; his defense fell on him being an engineer who, at the end of the day, just wanted to build cool shit and wasn’t malicious.
Just submitted. Curious to see what they have
Precisely. Hindsight is very 20/20. Although about 5 years ago I visited their office as a student and was quite curious to hear they had a multi billion dollar valuation and only a handful of office spaces...
Patience, my friend. Media hypes up the tech, but the work will take time.
The one video chat app alternative no ones talking about because the majority of HNers don’t work in Microsoft shops: Teams, with 44 million DAU.
