The problem is they built campuses and feel stupid about devaluing them. Combine that with a backwards mindset and, for most companies, the situation becomes clear.

Did all of the media outlets organize together for months in advance to be able to release everything today? The content and production quality makes it seem like this release was planned months in advance.

Also, assuming they did, what’s the process all of these news organizations go through in order to plan such a release on the same exact day? The planning of the release in such a coordinated way is almost questionable itself, though it would be good to get insight into this.

This must be some sort of objective measure of society entering into a new era.

The study was done by Robert Half, a recruitment company that is extremely old school and works with mostly antiquated companies. This is simply confirmation that many of those companies are behind the curve in their culture and mindset.

This should be interesting to see how this plays out. Either Adyen will skyrocket in value, or Stripe will decrease in value.

For doing payroll like transfers, especially with strong compliance, there's a lot of under the hood functionality required. Payoneer has spent over a decade creating this, while TransferWise still has a long ways to go.

We at Toptal initially created TopTracker payments (we don't monetize on this product at all) to be the lowest form of payments for freelancers globally by partnering with Payoneer. Essentially, it's a fixed 2% transfer cost including FX, however TransferWise is often able to beat that.

We, and I'm sure other companies, would love to partner with TransferWise, however they've yet to create API's that allows for a product to work with their system effectively. Once they do so, this will be a game changer for doing payroll globally.

Given the fact SARS had a similar profile, this should be a reasonable assumption.

I would have to imagine that these lasers will be the most difficult part of all of this. It will also be good to know how long each laser lasts and how much power they require to operate effectively.
