Well the attitude that puts a full stop (well a question mark) after "NIMBY" says implicity "where the poors live".

Why? The microbes don't get along with sourdough starter bacteria?
Hang the DJ
"Drill baby drill" as he said this week.
Why not fine tune Llama and use the money to build data centres and chips. You might need the M to be a B though.
It seems unusual to announce you will be slashing. Means good people quit ahead of time. Like an inverse stack rank.
Well done, defender of hill, protector of the mound.
You do things a bit different on an actual computer, right. As x cannot tend to infinity (so everything is O(1) by that measure) so common sense is applied.
If the Pope doesn't start spending every waking minute in a CC terminal he will be left behind and lose his job. /s
Yokels! lol
Kettle doesn't have 90C tea settings? No problem just boil at 100C, then pop in the microwave for 2 minutes at 0 megawatts. It is even faster if you live at altitude!
Very readable. Loved it. Perfect for the too online tech audience and brings magic of 70s/80s futurism with a nod to current AI and Cryptocurrency freaks with the use of "Maximalists". If you are a Gen X geek this is really fun read.
If you get a built in microwave get one that is also an oven. Great at Christmas time, you are ready with 2 real ovens!
All that should just happen. Unless it is FedRAMP or something insane like that.
Last one is research. But you don't need a claw.
I asked mine to give me some motivational pep at 9am monday.
Now that could evolve and turn into a personal trainer keeping track of my progress.
What if I send it my heart rate. Etc. Prove I did it.
Also is Claw named because of Claude. I.e. Claude -> Clawd -> Claw
Well we are early. Big tech will make it more convenient, free and then they can inject ads etc.
I am using a claw. I am not ready to give it access to much but web and cron plus a chat channel is useful and feels more light touch than typical AI sessions and UIs
Err. Id consider a 1m+ offer if I were him. With explosion of tlds and AI making the domain name less relevant (you ask AI and click its link) it will probably depreciate and better to grab $$$ and invest elsewhere.
They just needed to polygraph him
;-)
On the other hand it can be hard to escape if it's for something that actually matters.
E.g. Job applications, rental references, clearance at existing jobs, citizenship and visa applications, digital signing for things like business contracts.
Problem is if this becomes popular and people being lazy assume blocked site means slop without checking, then the repo has a lot of power to break innocent sites.
I don't have an answer because as you say with power comes people wrangling over power. And claw sloperators can be way more persistent!
As a puppy owner and lover of "Free as in speech" etc. phrases. I applaud!
Code is cheaper but not free is why.
Also AI is better at beaten path coding. Spend more tokens on native or spend them on marketing?
The difference is the loom is performing linear work.
Programming is famously non-linear. Small teams making billion dollar companies due to tech choices that avoid needing to scale up people.
Yes you need marketing, strategy, investment, sales etc. But on the engineering side, good choices mean big savings and scalability with few people.
The loom doesn't have these choises. There is no make a billion tshirts a day for a well configured loom.
Now AI might end up either side of this. It may be too sloppy to compete with very smart engineers, or it may become so good that like chess no one can beat it. At that point let it do everything and run the company.
And they are performed interrogation style but cannot be refused without risking your career.
OTOH, someone arrested can (probably should?) refuse.
He is a good writer. I also read to end and my attention span isn't good! I think the switching between what happened, what he felt and just the plain "daily WTF" rediculousness of the situations is what kept me locked in.
The AI pilled view is coding is knitting and AI is an automated loom.
But it is not quite the case. The hand coded solution may be quicker than AI at reaching the business goal.
If there is an elegant crafted solution that stays in prod 10 years and just works it is better than an initially quicker AI coded solution that needs more maintenance and demands a team to maintain it.
If AI (and especially bad operators of AI) codes you a city tower when you need a shed, the tower works and looks great but now you have 500k/y in maintaining it.
So really what I want is some sort of galaxy brained proxy where it can ask me for access to certain subsets of my inbox. No idea how to set that up though.
Though of the same idea. You could run a proxy that IMAP downloads the emails and then filters and acts as IMAP server. SMTP could be done the same limited to certain email addresses. You could run an independent AI harmful detector just in case.
