As far as I can tell, you just made the argument that both narrow and wide streets are loud. Either because of people or because of vehicles. So I'm not sure why you disagree with the OP.

Believe it or not, you can remove snow from narrow streets too.

Here's a very common snow removal vehicle: http://image.dieselpowermag.com/f/tech/11090507+w799+h499+cr... This type of vehicle is used all winter on the narrow paths, sidewalks, and streets at the University of Michigan. Snow levels at U-M are very similar to those in Detroit. I imagine that these vehicles are probably a lot cheaper than the snow plows used for wide streets too.

I think the idea is that it feels more human. It feels more like a home video - you feel that there is a real person behind the camera, and real people (not actors) in front of the camera.

Another option is to make offline support a paid feature.

I'm not sure that's strictly true. For one, if the government is paying for those who cannot afford it (through medicare/medicaid, etc.) then there is money to be made, and thus some incentive. Even if its a relatively small amount, some model could be devised to capture the market as a sort of long tail. Much like Amazon has some incentive to sell even the cheapest, niche items.

How will you monetize this??
