We use 1.6 in production on AWS i3.16xlarges and it's great. We've seen a reduction to less than half the nodes and over 100k per node requests/sec (up from 4k req/sec for Cassandra). Very few issues and those that come up get immediate attention from core developers that actually wrote the code you're having issues with.
Absolutely 100% recommend.
I've released the latest .NET API too for the dozens of us that use .NET with Consul. It features full (.NETStandard 1.3) support of Core in this version! https://www.nuget.org/packages/Consul/0.7.0

Note that you would have to change the filters if the scripts and tracking pixel are renamed of course but this should catch a majority of the push button installs.

They aim to standardize the "markdown-like" formats into a single unified one. It's not done yet but it's certainly better than everyone for themselves.
Looks cool - typo on the front page though: "What is swithboard.chat?" instead of "What is switchboard.chat?"

Has anyone spotted the documentation for the new shared library system yet? Plugin-based architecture is one of the biggest things I've wanted in Go and it seems to finally be happening.
What a coincidence - that's exactly what I did too, except I used IPTables and just PATed the connections.
Author here - Actually, the big problem was RDS EC2-Classic DB security groups, which ClassicLink doesn't help with. ClassicLink certainly is a feature, but it's not one that would have helped with the subset of groups that we were having trouble with.
