I just downloaded this to give it a trial and so far my exprience has been infuriating. I go to quick open a file - it takes 5 seconds to provide me a suggestion, I select my suggestion and hit enter, nothing, I double click, nothing, I hit the space bar, nothing.... Okay, let me maximise the window, I double click the window title, nothing, hmm, let me double click where the window controls are, nothing. It hardly feels 'Mac native'.

edit: after typing this out and letting it rest in the background, the quick open now actually opens a file.

If rumors are correct, the leaker has the source code also, but hasn't chosen to release that. how come game devs / artists are the only ones that should never have their work seen before they deem it to be 'ready', how many devs in other industries have had to push work to the public before they deem it 'ready'. I personally like having the 'curtain pulled back' so to speak, it's interesting to see the amount of work that goes into making a game / movie / whatever.

the problem being that a large majority of the homeless in SF aren't "your people". They aren't SF locals, they move there for the benefits and the nice weather.

^ 100% agree, some mentally ill people just need to be in an institution, where they can either get the care and treatment they need - and hopefully be cured and become a functional member of society - or at least where the amount of harm they are able to cause to themselves (and society) can be minimised.

I've been using Berkeley Mono [0] since it got released, it's a paid font which would normally be a no go for me, however the author is super responsive, and the font looks wonderful on my devices, so happy to support it.
