I'm not sure how much sandboxing can help here. Presumably you're giving the tool access to a repo directory, and that's where a juicy .env file can live. It will also have access to your environment variables.

I suspect a lot of people permanently allow actions and classes of commands to be run by these tools rather than clicking "yes" a bunch of times during their workflows. Ride the vibes.

Ah yes, the Johnny Ive era of "no ports on Macbooks except USB-C, and hope you like touchbars!" was fantastic. Not to mention how heavy the damn things are. Oh and the sharp edges of the case where my palms rest. And the chiclet keyboards with .0001 mm of key travel. I'll take a carbon fiber Thinkpad with an OLED display any day of the week, thank you. Macbooks feel like user hostile devices and are the epitome of form over function.

This is impressive and some of the "coming soon" features are ambitious. So, these devices mesh with each other. Are they like "idle" WiFi connections, or are they chatty? I'm wondering how much spectrum clashing there will be. WiFi can be finicky enough as-is.

Thank you for your service. I spent a few years traveling all around North America and I can assure you that offline mode is very necessary for Maps. These Bay Area engineers need to go to the Rocky Mountains sometime and see how their phones act there when they have zero connectivity.
