Systemd is great. I've used sockets for ssh, I use the timers instead of cron, everything goes smoothly and works really well.

I don't get the hate, I love it.

Basically, apps will be restricted to their own bit of the SD card, they can still use it, just not put things in there all willy-nilly. That sounds great to me.

no patching for vertical and horizontal splits (I know screen doesn't do one of them without a fair bit of work).

tmux isn't a dead project.

Spirit of exploration? I started with tmux and no screen experience, but I've converted a few people to tmux by them just giving it a chance, basically.

I ctrl+b with my left hand only. Pinky on left ctrl, index finger on b. I've never had any issues with it.

That's why I spent a ton of money on bellroy wallet. I've got the slimmest wallet in the office!

Debian was my first linux distro and moving from stable to testing repos the first time was a real pain in the ass. After doing it once or twice, and reading a ton of stuff and learning what was actually going on when I was changing settings, I was much better off.
