ive been looking for a more mouseless browser for a while now, qutebrowser doesn't cut it because no extensions and need to configure to get videos & other things working. so I've been stuck with vimium... when nyxt supports ad blocker and other extensions im on board
Feels like its easy to have a false positive diagnoses for amphetamines, particularly in high stress & productivity roles such as tech.
I'm skeptical..
pretty sure you can use photoshop via wine on linux distros
for me what works is widgets on my phone home screen "press to complete" and scheduling my time. no prompts because i ignore them, no opening the habit tracking app because i won't bother
i think the point is if you cant see the code you dont know if its still E2E encrypted and you're just taking them for their word?
can you elaborate on "telegram is very shady in many more regards"? im a telegram and signal user but if i knew telegram was shady id probably leave

same on tech lead front. unfortunately it makes my imposter syndrome worse because im never the most knowledgeable dev on the low level details.
unrealistic deadlines and clients who think "playing rough" gets them more bang for their buck (it doesn't)
bad ideas may eventually die by they may also cause harm before dying out.

anecdotal but from what ive seen its the rich & entitled that dont care and do whatever they want. vacations, seeing groups anfnthen their families etc.

Been using MacBooks since 2014 for hobby development/work
I bought a new macbook pro m1 in December. Returned 2 days later after realizing that it only supports one external monitor and even found articles stating that ultra wide monitors were not supported on initial release. "Just use display link adaptor?" No thanks I don't want a 150$ adaptor that may or may not work with my current setup. Even with display link I've heard of displays flickering on initial startup or not starting at all in clamshell.
People saying the MacBook pro 16" might solve the issue but tbh I think this is apples way of pigeonholing users to either their desktop version or their laptop.
