I gave up on that page halfway through and just came here to read comments. Can't be bothered with this stuff anymore. Thanks for the link!

I regret spending money on multiple pro versions of Hitfilm in hindsight. I found Resolve very daunting as a beginner and Hitfilm's layered editing felt easier at the time. But looking back I should have just spent it on Resolve pro license. I stopped using Hitfilm way before my last license expired just because Resolve just felt better once I got a hang of it.
I have been wondering about selling one of my 32gb DDR5 sticks and use the money to buy something else. I don't think a gaming pc really needs more than 32gb ram anyway.
I am also going to miss searching for something, finding a stack overflow thread and noticing that I wrote that answer years ago. :)
Just wanted to point out that you and other people who responded to you basically do agree on same points, you are just presenting it differently. I just find it amusing/endearing that we argue with each other even when we do agree on the core issue. :D
First Maple and now this. Today is good day for trying new fonts.
Checked it out and instantly liked it. Been using Cascadia Code for years. Will give this one a try now. Thank you!
These days I do a 'eh' and shrug when someone asks a random 'how are you'?
Going from mostly centered lenses on dslr and m43 cameras to Sony with lens on mostly left side, I do prefer the offset lenses. Ergonomically and looks-wise both.
Speaking of good cookbooks, Big Vegan Flavor by Nish Vora is actually one of my recent favorites. First of all, the pictures are amazing and make it a very fun read. And it is less of a recipe book and more of a guidebook on how to develop a good sense about cooking. Don't let the word Vegan put you off it's not the pompous kind of vegan stuff.
Whoa. That was an interesting read.
I have no bone in either pebble or rebble discussion. All I want to know is what is eric's website made with? I love the font and the whole setup and would love to copy it for another blog I will setup and never write anything on.
As a self-hosting noob, I never got traefik to work properly, then caddy just worked and has been working since.
My daughter started commenting on people's appearance around age 5+ because she learned it from Peppa Pig. Everyone always talks down to and about the Daddy pig constantly. They try to incorporate some 'good' behaviors in the story but certain 'it's just a joke' jokes end up leaving more impressions on the kid than the shoehorned moral of the story. It took us a while to teach her how it can hurt others if you comment on things (even if they are technically factual statements). On the other hand, she learned some simple but useful things from Bluey that we weren't successful in teaching effectively. e.g. She learned to speak up and tell when Dad(me) was overdoing 'fun' things (literally an episode with exact same concept where Bingo has to tell her dad the same thing). She learned to be compliment and acknowledge many things verbally (instead of saying 'why do I need to say it, they know it already').
"Flat Pack" (S2 E24) and "Baby Race" (S2 E49) Are my most favorite and bring out tears every time.
Then there is "Granny Mobile" (S3 E33) which cracks me up every time.
Even my 7 year old daughter knows this and uses Bluey to cheer me up if I am in sour mood.
Don't even get me started on Shaun the Sheep. My daughter and I have re-watched everything there is about Shaun the Sheep and laugh in anticipation before the funny things actually happen.
Edit: I absolutely love the minisodes where Bandit tells kids bedtime stories (Goldilocks and Three little pigs). I wouldn't be surprised if the voice actor just went off and made up bunch of stuff which they animated later.
I am one of those newbies and I spent way too much of my morning going through all of these. :D
I love Ableton though. You can google any random thing about it and get an answer somewhere because it's so widely used. Dunno what OP has against it. It's not hard to come by Ableton Live Lite license for free. I think just buying their iphone app gives you access to Lite license.
I zoomed in and zoomed out instantly as soon as I realized it was breaking the illusion for me. I just love how our brain actually fills in these gaps.
HOW IS IT THIS SPOT ON. OMG.

I had to turn off my Dark Reader to light mode to see it. Yes, this is a very elegant, easy on the eyes and fun to read website/blog. I would like to use this theme unless it is a fully custom site.
I tried the Irfan view but I am just more comfortable with FSViewer.
What's Windows Editor? Do you mean the good old Notepad? :)
I saw the scrollbar and hit CTRL+W. Sleep deprived by an autistic 3 year old who can't speak but only cry all night. I have no energy to do anything. I am surprised I typed this long a response.
I also just wrote a subquery as a column instead of inner join or something. Dunno it might be right. It worked though.
Recently the editing tools have gotten much better too. I have sometimes made photos look better(to my liking) on google photos android app than using a dedicated desktop software.
I got 10th gen i5 on sale just before 11th gen came out. Works great for my gaming pc. Haven't felt the need to upgrade even when 12th gen went on sale for similar price I paid for 10th. So who are they targeting by launching barely improved chips? Anyone with a decent pc won't upgrade unless there is something substantial and hyped about it.
Sometimes I have to remember to disable the Private DNS to make some sites work. Some of them just don't work with nextDNS on. Other than that, NextDNS works great.
Also this one from years ago is my favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WReFkfrUIk Learned a lot of basics with this one.
Being from rural India, I have heard birds make similar noises and have successfully avoided walking into a snake or two. So that was the easiest for me honestly.
Yep bad example indeed. BTW, does imgur allow linking images directly anymore? Your link opened a page with your tiny screenshot at top and some random image for rest of the page and it was very confusing.
I agree. I usually end up finding alternate methods or hints to look for a completely different approach (especially from stack overflow).
Partner sharing, Face tagging, adding photos to albums based on faces.. these things are great. I even enabled the auto add thing on my brother in law's phone because he was notorious for forgetting to share photos of my kids (they spend a lot of time together). So now any time he takes their photos, google photos adds them to my shared album and I have 'Auto save' enabled on my side so those photos get copied into my account automatically.
Also recently Google photos has really done a good job of adding editing features. Ah I really hope Google keeps it going.
