To match the offer to the market - if the base engine is more powerful than the market standard at a given price then you can lower the power because the customer will not choose another car on that basis anyway. And you can take more money from enthusiasts.

It is true, the performance of the engine depends on the version of the software - manufacturer declares that this engine with this software can achieve this maximum performance and the software can't be legally nad officially tuned or changed. Btw in my country tax depends on engine displacement so it doesn't really change anything.

"Poland started with teletext broadcasts in 1988, the year before they exited the USSR."

It's a small detail but Poland was never a part of the USSR. Could be changed to "exited the Eastern Bloc".

Exactly, I have severe myopia, that was quickly developing during my teenage years so my glasses were often too weak. Beacuse of that my brain learned to identify people by gait too.

I think it's more about not remembering the feel of being hurt by someone - like he knows that this person did something bad to him but he doesnt't remember emotions connected to that event, that's why it's harder to hold a grudge.

It's the official church title - "minor basilica". There are only four "major basilicas" in Rome.

I think that's a misunderstanding. If you could build the house using only resources that you already have than you would have 100k dollars AND a house. That's the idea of mercantilism. Of course sometimes you just don't have needed resources and than you have to buy something but you should limit it to things you can't obtain in any other way. Mercantilism is one of the reasons of colonialism. If you can take resources from some part of the world that you don't really care about, then you are adding wealth to your own country for basically free.

I've never heard about gumroad in Europe. And many people do not trust PayPal (I don't).

I don't know about Prague but in Krakow you could find something decent for 1000 USD (including utilities). Even less if city centre is not a must.

I totally agree, I think most accidents are caused by human nature (especially slow reaction time in specific conditions like being tired or drunk) and ignoring laws of physics (driving too fast). And some are just a pure bad luck (something/someone getting on the road right in front of the car).

I think the misunderstanding is caused by existing of two types of ramen - traditional, good quality is one, and another is instant - bad quality fast food.
