Expensive and not unlimited :(

I am pissed that dropbox makes me pay 9$ / month to have 100gb that I don't need. I do not want 250gb, absolutely not useful :(. I would love a 5$ /month plan with 50gb

I can be fun if you have your own server, I have webhosting with 1and1 but no virtual/dedicated server. So hosting everything myself would cost me money to take the server.

Also I don't find it very secure, you would need to have multiple backups to make sure nothing gets lost if your server gets erased.

Ubuntu is now by default Unity and not Gnome. I like both, both didn't find one that doesn't lag for me, maybe im doing something wrong with the drivers :/

Not for me :(. I like having eye candy, even though it does give a lot of distractions.

As a developer I find Linux very annoying to use. I have tried Ubuntu on different boxes, even on powerful gaming computers, but it doesn't seem as stable as Windows 8 does. Launching programs, or switching between windows has sometimes a little bit of lag (and I'm on an i7, 8gb of ram etc...) I hate having the slightest bit of lag. For me it would be easier to work on linux, but its just not as nice to use as Windows 8 is.

Yes but hacker news is very minimalistic, I think minimalistic and ugly is ok. But on their website its hard to understand what is happening.

Software looks terrible for 2013

I work as a PHP developer, but for personal projects I create apps with Java on Android, and have also created iPhone apps with Objective C, I disagree with you. PHP has some issues (like the ones presented here), but its also a great language for specific projects. I do prefer Java syntax honestly, but I'll never use JSP for a website, PHP is more adapted for that. PHP is not for newbies, it is easier for newbies yes, but you can be a hardcore programmer and still use PHP.

It's annoying as I use credit cards ONLY for building credit and cashback. Credit cards for me are a tool, not something that costs me money. If it will cost money to use it then I'll just stop using it :(

Its faster to click on it than to wait for the preview to appear

Torrent Downloading:

I honestly prefer a full program for that, uTorrent

Opera Mail:

Gmail is better, and I prefer using the full gmail, not a program that downloads the emails, or syncs them

A Built-in RSS Reader:

Could be ok, I still prefer Google Reader online

I like to have my notes synced everywhere, if i can view them on my phone it could actually be good.

Mouse gestures:

Firefox has that (with an extension), I tried it but never liked it. I tend to play with my mouse all the time, and triggered gestures by mistake

Reload page every x minutes:

Most apps now have an auto refresh like Facebook or Twitter. And honestly F5 is really easy to do. Also there is a firefox and a chrome extension to do this

Clone Tab:

For the twice in a year where I might need this function, it takes 1 second to do this manually

Well I mean the guy commited crimes and entered private systems. Its not like he is innocent. Are you saying you want it to be legal to hack into any random system in the world ? (that would remove all the fun of hacking)

PS: And I have done some hacking, stolen some files, financial information a long time ago, but I agree that it is highly illegal and should be punished and I do regret my actions. Thankfully I stopped before it was too late
