Feels like we’re the ones being put in a bottle as rational thinking, integrity, consideration of the greater good on all things big and small are interpreted as being weak and/or arresting people’s freedoms. When you forget hard learned lessons, they have a way of reminding you eventually.

Intentionally eating good food is a lot more about where your head is at than what you’re eating, like any other devices. You can better understand the mentality of a person by their diet that they evolved through personal experience.

DeepSeek interpreting screenshots and images I send it at fractions of what I pay Claude and ChatGPT, for me, is of far higher priority than supporting dictation. There are workarounds for dictation but not image processing.

I agree with a lot here and practice keto throughout the year and occasionally break to eat burritos, rice, pasta and drink beer because I enjoy them. But our ancestors were not in constant ketosis. They ate substantial carbohydrates in the food they consumed seasonally, though not as much as we consume today because of our tech. Also, doesn’t ice reduce blood flow? Lastly Ramadan and cancer rates are not supported. This discounts age distribution, smoking, genetics, environmental exposure, etc.

Not sure why this was downvoted, I came to read more about it. I have a friend that runs a firm and uses Legora and can’t stand it. We have conversations all of the time about pain points. I sent him the Claude Law docs, and while he’s not technical he was intrigued because he envisions his workflows to eventually be similar to mine as a developer.

Wasn’t this the concept behind the toilet in the Your Friends and Neighbors series on Apple TV?

Have you tried to use this feature? From my experience it’s typically reserved instances that provide discounts for longer contracts. It feels a lot like cable TV to me. I think the interface is difficult to use but am able to get what I want from the CLI and some scripts I have aliased.

Looks like many could be siloed this summer given the increase in fuel prices across the board. That could also be a downward drag on many industries. Even if we were able to get back to where we were 2 months ago today, there would still be noticeable, non-zero impact.

Definitely experimenting with less expensive ones. I have a few versions of my settings.json

I also wonder if token utilization has or will ever find its way to employee performance reviews as these models go up in price.

If the rules changed mid competition and I lost a race to someone who had been competing on a men’s varsity team and then shortly after competed on the women’s team, it would be very hard for me to just shrug and say they beat me fair and square. That reaction is not unreasonable.

It may not justify sweeping laws, but it absolutely justifies having an honest conversation about fairness.

Honest question, you say you compete for fun, but what about the folks you beat who are competing for the sake of competition, which is a little different than fun? I am generally open minded at least in comparison to folks I encounter but I can’t square this one in my head. I am just one person with a single opinion but would like to better understand where I am wrong on this topic.
