Which have you tried? I had similar problems as you with steamlink, but geforce experience+moonlight has been a godsend. Works incredibly well (if you have a Nvidia GPU)
The thought I've heard floated before is that you might not be happy with your new vacuum you just bought. Some percentage of people that buy anything will not be pleased with the result and that new ad in their face might be enough to push them over the edge to return it and buy what is advertised. Amazon just wants to ensure you buy the replacement from them.
Using a usb-live disk distro built from the ground up to be privacy first (i.e. tails) would be the next step up the “trading inconvenience for increased privacy” ladder.
Mind reaching out to me glennb? Curious how you went about it, and I might be able to help with a new market. Thanks! jp@slndrtech.com
10 year veteran of the ITS industry here. It's not trivial to do camera speed recognition. You need to do ranging in addition to the video detection to know how far the vehicle is from the camera to accurately measure the speeds using movement between frames. These systems cost in the $10,000+ range, while a k-band doppler can be had for around $500. It's a no brainer to stick with the 1940's doppler technology ;)
For a punk rock perspective on this issue, I'd encourage you to checkout OxyMoronic by the legendary NOFX.
This book changed my life when I read it as an impressionable young man. I think all people could benefit from Viktor's words. Big up to the archive.org crew once again, they never cease to amaze me.
This is not true. Source: I've restored TBs of backups multiple times from crash plan and never once have I issued a console command.
Unfortunately there isn't a standard way to collect this data on a national level. Believe it or not its up to that local jurisdiction, or State (in the case of state patrol) to dictate what information they gather and how it is gathered. This makes comparisons and real statistical analysis quite difficult.
