According to wikipedia [0], ATC in Germany is subject to the Fernmeldegeheimnis [1]. It’s the same law that protects snail mail and other communications. Anyone who wants to even listen to ATC has to be certified [2], and then has to comply with that law.

Quite scary isn’t it? What a time to be alive. I’d never have believed that I am seriously questioning whether a conversation on the internet is real. Even after all the gpt3 quiz sites, like the one where you have to guess if the code is generated or real.

I feel the same way. In the end, privacy concerns won over public recognition for me.

CTRL F for privacy in this thread shows way too few results imo.
