Apart from different colors (which can be achieved by changing the CSS here) and using 17x more data on initial load, what does this accomplish?
The product engineer wouldn't necessarily (or rather, shouldn't) implement the functionality. That would be left to the full stack engineer.
This looks great, but I do wish there was more variety language varieties (big ones like C# and Java).
I don't see any real coupons or deals on the front page. I mostly see "up to XX% off" which any real bargain hunter knows is just fluff.
The competitors in this space, for me, include slickdeals/fatwallet and blogs that post coupons (printable-coupons-blogspot) that are actually hard to find. My initial reaction is that CouponHunt just shows you what deals you'd see anyway by visiting a store's site.
Why do they need a kickstarter? They have the money for an entire team and are hiring more.

Slightly misleading title: "w/o a CS degree" yet has a ECE degree. I went through the same ECE program at a different school and from the experience of my peers and myself, an ECE degree is treated just like a CS degree (but not the other way around). Also, she already has experience working as a PM at Microsoft.
If this was coming from some random X school with a completely unrelated degree or big name company on the resume, I would agree with title, otherwise, no.
