I know this is considered by some to be a religious text. However, I have read some bits of it and know that there are gems there. Still, could I ask you to expand on why you think so?

As an Asian who definitely has no family cookbooks to fall back on, It definitely is a project to get things written. It's a tragedy that knowledge passed down for generations get lost because inbetween generations placed no value in cooking.

This sentiment is, in essence, the problem. It's perfectly logical for this trend of distancing customers from their , as you put it, "all in-house by organic, corn-fed, English-as-their-first-language-meat-bags" when you start with the core concept that the _only_ purpose of a company is to earn capital.

I'm clearly not in the demographic for this. However, I'm immediately dubious about any "maintenance scripts claims". That sounds very opaque. Does your app have any rollback / contingencies in place in case your maintenance scripts break something?

My pet theory is that they were a form of marketing for the folks who grew up with the wild-west-internet. The internet now is more corporate and "serious". You have an entire generation of workers who only ever knew the internet in its walled off / corporate form. And then you have folks want to "just get work done". So you'll continue to see fewer of these harmless chicanery.

I think my reason for commenting was because the way you comment makes it seem like the product is out to try / "check out my product!" but the product doesn't even exist.

I mean, isn't the only way to go about that to be completely vanilla or do what the masses do, then? Because if you start blocking all these cookies, canvas, javascript, etc- won't your browser's fingerprint be even more unique since you'd be the only one who's traffic data would be incomplete?

Duolingo creates dopamine hits under the facade of learning a language (which you never do).

If you're using duolingo as your only source for learning a language, yeah. It's a flashcard app when you get to brass tacks. You won't learn a language by only use flashcards.

As a supplemental tool, it's great.

Could you tell me what feature kept you there? I've been trying it on the side, but it seems to be bulkier than basically anything else I've tried.

They took gritty and energizing chip tune music and replaced it with breathy, gentle wind instruments. It fits the aesthetics of the game but it's so boring.

I felt the same but I didn't really know what was wrong with it until I read your comment. It is beautiful, but it's just... lacking something for me.

I'd previously described it as a "soul-less remake" but I think perhaps it's just taken in a direction that didn't sit true to the original. Whereas, if you look at the recent Super Mario RPG remake, it's got the same vibe and soul as the original game.

What ink do you use with this? I find a lot of "bright" inks to not be opaque enough.

This looks like good paper. I hope it doesn't bleed or feather like most with fountainpen ink.
