HN needs to post new stories on the front page to give them a chance 17 years agoUpcoming should be a function of recent votes. Frontpage order can then be a fx of votes (+), recent votes (+), and time decay (-). This has the benefit of creating the desired functionality without altering the interface. 0ThreadHN
