I started using an ad blocker after seeing a banner of a guy with his pants down, sitting on the toilet. It was for a marketing firm.
A lot of companies are completely juvenile with their approach to advertising. They don't deserve to be acknowledged.
Thanks for posting this. The online version of Practical Typography is a beautiful presented and handy guide, and I was surprised to see it available for free.
Using the word "relationship" is a bit manipulative IMO. If it is a relationship, it's a conditional one-sided one.
The whole 'relationship with the listener' thing is nonsense. I don't have relationships with the podcasts I listen to. I don't have relationships with movie actors when I watch a film either. Like come on.
I want to be informed and entertained. If I'm not, I move on to another podcast.
