I've tried several times and I agree, it's boring to me. But a lot of people use it daily and see real progress.
I see it ranked 5th in OP
Oh, the memories!

Most of (not all) my results are above the knee skirts.
If you can write the app you need with "modules, web components, promises, and async/await" then you never needed Angular to begin with. And that's a good thing, frameworks/libraries are never the answer to everything and are a decision to be weighed carefully.
Are you suggesting that angular apps written in 2014 would not still be working?
extremely bad french, so it is pretty much only used by ignorant journalists
I wouldn't say that, it's still debated whether it's correct or not.
I kept having sync problems with OneNote so I had to ditch it and started using evernote instead.
What do you do now?
Compatibility mode would be like coding for IE7. Not IE11's fault :D
Is there some joke I'm not getting? querySelector has worked on IE since version 8.
In France, on some trains (ouigo) you pay extra for baggage
Thanks for the author recommendation, had never heard of him.
Is this the bootcamp version of the famous Dropbox HN quote?
I only partially agree with you. I also prefer learning with books and online courses but that's not everybody's case.
Some people benefit much more from a structured process where they can ask questions easily, be tested much more often and gauge their progress over time.
It's absolutely not. Most of my friends put a picture. I'm in tech and I don't but that's a personal choice.
And I agree with you.
I intended for that question to be rhetorical. What I don't understand is why that formula is seriously used in arguments.
My bad, didn't realise there were so many stations shut down.
I travelled without any hassles on those days so I assumed just a couple of main stations were closed.
During Paris protest earlier this year the gov would just shut down public transports for about 5~10 km around
10km is nearly Paris' width so I'd say that's a bit much. If I remember correctly, they closed the main stations around the protests but not much more.
Has the creepiness formula been somewhat accepted officially? I often see people using it to define the creepiness of a relationship, something I find very weird.
You could have just refrained from posting.
And my XPS 13 9350 (2015) has display problems.
My screen stopped working for a week and started working again for absolutely no reason.
It's a known problem : https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-13-9350-Black-Screen/
And none of the mentioned fixes worked more than a day for me.
Thank you for the headphones recommendation. Exactly what I was looking for.
I bought it full price. It's perfect for the usage I have: comics and youtube.
But I wouldn't try anything else on it, wouldn't want it to explode.
I love reading these kind of stories about Japanese companies. I hope there are more and more of these as the current work culture over there is pretty depressing to me.
I had exactly those same problems.
I used it with a group of friends but one of them often didn't receive our replies.
"John, why are you humming the porn-cancelling song?"
Wouldn't that be like being against the concept of vaccines because of horrible medical lobbies?
