I agree that this is a well-written and well-researched work. I root for the optimist's take above.

I agree with the article's take on Trump's obliviousness. I think it is an interesting question you raise about the oligarchs' power without Trump.

The fundamental problem with this philosophy is its dependence upon supply-side economics - a methodology that is hopelessly flawed. The will of the consumer can only be suppressed so far -- how long can Musk service his loans when demand for Tesla dries up?

The people who must consume to keep the system going will have a say.

Mismanagement and poor execution seems to have doomed this project, but the idea still seems viable to me. Some of the price disparities with vertical hydroponics fall away when compared against pure "organics."

Admittedly, I'm no expert, but I'd be interested in a comparison of economics and impacts with regenerative farming for turning out high quality organic produce.

Article doesn't provide enough information to evaluate the product. I assume that this product is based upon an embedded Linux implementation, right? What technology is it using to connect? Does it use TOR? How do I connect to it?
