My iPhone always replaces « wow » by « WoW ». So annoying

The hotspot errors drive me insane. You’re basically connecting two device from the same company that happens to make both software and hardware on those two devices. I can’t understand this.
AirDrop and hotspot work 50% of the time for me. It’s a shame since they must own all of the stack for those technologies
And in the WiFi/BT department, they almost own all the stack. Guess Airdrop and hotspot would work all the time! Oops.
He was such a great guy. Wholesome. What a loss.
Kramnik has proven himself a troll and did a lot of damage to the reputation of honest and otherwise wholesome people and this without credible proof at all. That those allegations persist under the form of news article is very unfortunate to those victims of his smearing.
Although I'm not an expert on this case, it's wise to remain skeptical when hearing only one party's perspective on a court decision. The science in question might be dubious, but there could be other evidence, or the story might be more complex than it appears.
I tend to root for the underdog against an institution, but we've already witnessed significant exaggerations and manipulations from the defense in public cases. The Serial podcast comes to mind, as well as the series Making a Murderer.
The selected quote is not a counterpoint to the claims of the activists. It’s merely an admission that mass tourism causes issues.
Also as I said they did not interview him but only quoted another interview.
I would like to comment on the Guardian reporting. It was always a news organization that I loved but their reporting has become so one-sided that it’s now questionable if this is really journalism at all.
Why not interview the local elected politicians or the local tourism organization? Apparently there’s a problem with those two resorts being built. Are they really that outrageous? Why not report on them even just by calling a representative?
Even if they are biased it would be a counterpoint to the other (also biased) claims in the article.
Can you use navigation apps like Waze ? Et Spotify ?
And chatting apps like Telegram and Whastap ?
I wonder how this microbe influenced human morality. Is the moral idea that promiscuity is bad a vestige of some healthy recommendation to avoid multiple partner to not get or propagate syphilis?

Twitter's a classic case of addiction for me.
It hooks you with a quick dopamine rush but also sneaks in some low-key anxiety.
The buzz comes fast and goes fast, while the anxiety creeps in slow but hangs around longer.
When I'm stressed, I go after those dopamine hits, but they just end up making my stress worse.
That's why I've stopped using it and feeling much better for it.
Time to buy even more Nvidia stock... (currently at their ATH)

Erowid is also a great ressource to when using psychoactive drugs.
This comment is trying to discredit David Grusch. He merely said that those potential beings might not be aliens but might be resident of earth and maybe on other dimensions. He also mentions the Vatican role on one occasion in the 40’s for a case happening in Italy.
It’s quite disheartening to see this person putting himself and his career in jeopardy being discredited on the internet by anonymous people using bad faith arguments and mislabeling his claims.

I’ve been meditating every day for 3 years. I now meditate more than 1 hours every day.
How did I do it? My only goal was to do at least 1 min of meditation a day but every day. No excuse.
It’s my opinion that this is the best and easiest method to build a meditation practice.
I have met and talked to several Uber drivers and I was surprised that the « slave » narrative was totally unfounded (on that sample at least).
Drivers were generally very happy about their Uber earnings. When I realized it I bought shares and they are now at +60% over the buying price.
Let’s just be careful with pre-digested narratives. I am not saying that every driver is happy. But many are certainly quite happy!
Many people from the government and from the military are putting their reputation and career (and maybe safety) on the line to bring these informations to the public.
Let’s at least recognize that before automatically casting doubt.
There are so many serious people saying basically the same things for years - at a great cost for their careers, that it would be really surprising that there’s really nothing.
If it all exists, I am pretty sure all this technology has considerable value for the military and as such, there will be immense resistance to acknowledge anything.
- it was swamp gas
- it was a reflection in the windshield
- I debunked it from seeing this YouTube video because those Air Force pilots and those government whistleblowers definitely don’t know what they are talking about !
I am always surprised by the amount of confidence those « debunkers » radiate when what they mainly do is just express doubt with zero cost to them in terms of reputation or even work.
Well done sir, this is a well crafted analogy
That’s a disaster

Exactly: what if my radiologist doesn’t know my particular rare condition?
I would feel comfortable removing the human diagnostician. Let’s have actual human doctors acting as researchers working to improve the AI diagnostics.
I don’t know if the author is right in general. But I possess a good German car and I have the experience daily of the quality of the car, the silence, the smoothness etc. And yes, it’s pretty nice!
I agree with you.
He seems so full of hate and preconceptions that it almost sounds like a troll.
Also who calls himself a monk and spends time on social media? Not that it’s supposed to be forbidden but social media is basically the death of attention…
