CRC was founded in 1984 by Willa Johnson, former senior vice president of The Heritage Foundation, deputy director of the Office of Presidential Personnel in the first term of the Reagan administration, and a legislative aide in both the United States Senate and House of Representatives. Journalist and author Marvin Olasky previously served as a senior fellow at CRC.[6]

The smallest margin on Kindle Scribe is too large. Changing text justification is not possible. Books cannot be uploaded directly with a USB cable without additional software (calibre). Gesture configuration (tap, two-finger tap, etc). Koreader can do everything you want and is significantly better than the stock reader. Unlike other vendors, kindle requires root to install it.

It is strange to mention that he is in Chile and not mention that he is a Russian citizen, and the apps come from a Russian company that was recently re-registered(??? or not) somewhere else.

It could be sanctions, and it is not related to reviews at all.

In January 2016, China banned VKontakte, claiming that it was manipulating web content and cooperating with the Kremlin. According to Russia's media watchdog, the network estimates around 300,000 users based in China.[63] As of 14 February 2018, China authorities unblocked VKontakte and it was fully accessible in the country.[64]

This is hilarious.

> But as importantly, it will provide the level of commercial support that bigger studios need to be able to switch to Godot.

Nobody is going to do that.

You know how Hacker News is really negative about stuff that turns out to be a huge success? There should be a name for the opposite, where a bunch of nerds get really excited about something that will definitely remain insignificant.

Let's call it trolling.

I work with B2B software(software library) and... professional support sells well, and companies are ready to pay a lot for it. Many customers won't even buy the software without support.

Eh... Apart from messing with input, I like it. Sometimes, it's hard to notice when the "city", "village" starts and reduce your speed. Our highways sometimes might pass through the small cities. It's european thing. It's in my interest not to speed there. Usually, only OpenStreetMaps(OsmAnd) helps me see when the city starts.

They already do this in Kharkiv. Yesterday and today, they were shelling residential areas for no reason. Also, today they dropped two bombs from the planes. The first bomb was dropped on the city center. And the second one near the residential building and hospital.

No, it's a PR company from Signal. I'm in Kharkiv right now. I know no one who uses Signal here. Everyone still uses telegram for all the communication and news.

There is a lot of news about Signal, but it's simply not here. And yes, if I have to replace it, I'll go with something that does not require a phone number. Mobile networks might go down.

Full-scale might not happen, but it absolutely does not mean any kind of peace. There is no interest for russia to stop daily shelling and keep capturing in small pieces. Russia has zero interest to stabilize the situation they walked away from all the agreements and negotiations.

Yea, that's a bullshit. Ukrainian-Ukrainian here. Russians now claim that they will "protect" the entire Donetsk and Lugansk regions and expand if needed to do so. People die right now MORE than in previous "peaceful" times. They already fucking shelled a kindergarten, school, and killed a civilian (was a rarity before).
