Well, this is how Science is done now, the political party decides what they want to happen, and their 'experts' deliver for them.
Their 'vax', masks, social distancing, denying the actual meds that work? Utter garbage. It is mostly embarrassing that the believers think these were done for their safety as opposed to a way to steal an election (And will deny it's happening in the upcoming election).
It helps when all of these conspiracy theories get proved true day after day.

The real question is, why are people so close minded and sure of their world view not to believe in conspiracy theories.
