It's fan fiction for Americans and claims that the church became corrupted and are restoring the true church with their non biblical ideas. As such, their ideas are sufficiently divergent from biblical doctrine they are considered not part of the Christian church.

There's a certain writing style, very short paragraphs, fair amount of repetition that just feels like you've read this post before. And you have, just on different topics but it's always the same feel.
But also lots of negatives to start the sentence, usually with a reinforcement e.g.
your password didn't help. your 2fa didn't help. you were never asked to authenticate. you were asked to authorize. completely different mechanism

As other comments have pointed out, a "ban" is where a library has chosen not to stock a book for reasons including response to a complaint. If school library serves children up to the age of 13, then certain explicit fiction is not appropriate and would be expected to be removed.

I replaced the battery in mine. Unlike big tech, I believe in repairing old devices. Something Amazon have not considered is how many of these old devices are used as companion devices for other high end kindle owners. I have a scribe and old paperwhite and use them interchangably, with cloud sync of reading position etc, which won't be possible after 20 may.

ugh. i came to see why this site failed completely to work as expected. turns out that a human has barely been anywhere near it and thinks that delivering non-working slop is fine. what a waste of my time and printer paper.
i'm in the UK and most people i know drop cursive for non-joined up handwriting as soon as they get the opportunity.
In a corporate environment most emails are TLDR. Quite often a big boss will forward a mail to the whole department "please read". It's 5 pages of waffle. Is it useful or not? Either I spend ten minutes reading or ignore it, or ask a person or bot for a summary. For a dyslexic person, to read a large block of text that is unclear if it is pointless or not, is a lot of cognitive load that you cannot afford either.
Imagine what it will be like for the generation who are currently using chatgpt to do their homework only for the teacher to use AI to mark it
I'm in the UK. Normal conversation: what did you do on Sunday? I was in church. "Oh are you a Christian" "yes". Now, if the first person is not a Christian , that's often the end of the conversation. If first person is also a Christian they would say "oh me too! What sort of church do you go to". They might then answer, oh I got to st Luke's, have you heard of it. Or I go to so and so in the town. The baptist church? Yeah that one" It's very unusual for a non Catholic to go straight to denominations in answer to the "are you a Christian", because that's not the question, and due to the appeal to unity, because of the belief that we're all part of god's family, rather than go straight for dividing lines. And never would anyone identify as "I'm a protestant", that would be odd.
Well it's a common question I've asked of people during my life, and only catholics ever make that distinction, almost a correction. And there's a reason why - because they think it's the one true church. I'm not in the USA btw.
I often experience this. I saw that a co worker had written something about God in their Twitter bio. "Are you a Christian?" "I'm a Catholic" they replied. Any other denomination would say "yes I'm a Christian" (there are no denominations in heaven, nor was there in the early church).
To understand this behaviour, it should be known that Catholics have introduced man made rules that they have additionally decided are not up for discussion (infallible) even if the Bible appears to say otherwise. Catholics teach that there is no salvation outside the church. By definition, this makes sense - the church is by definition a body of people who belong to Christ. However what the catholics actually mean is "the Roman Catholic church". Whether your average Catholic realises this or not it's debatable, but the common clarification "I'm a Catholic" is because they have absorbed a corrupt teaching that only catholics can be saved. I made a tiktok account to write a comment on a video I hated. Now when i sign in again I am presented with lots of awful videos from the guy I dislike. I cannot delete my viewing history using the website, and following other accounts doesn't remove the obsession tiktok has with always showing me his videos as the default. I'm not installing the app, so the only way around this is to delete my account completely.

We even had an issue that SLURM uses 4 ports per job for the duration of the job, so you can't actually run more than a few thousand jobs simultaneously because the controller runs out of TCP ports!
That sounds concerning. Do you have a link to a bug report for this please? Is the tcp port problem on the compute node side or the controller side?
