Your brain is performing "compute-intensive brute-force attacks on the problem/solution space" as you read this very sentence. You trained patterns on English syntax, structure, and semantics since you were a child and it is supporting you now with inference (or interpretation). And, for compute efficiency, you probably have evolution to thank.

Is this a specific example from their demo? I just tried it and Opus 4.1 is able to solve it.

lower-to-middle of the middle class

The comparison was clearly between the rich and the poor. We can take the 99.99th wealth percentile, where billionaires reside, and contrast that to a narrow range on the opposite side of the spectrum. But, in my opinion, the argument would still hold even if it were the top 10% vs bottom 10% (or equivalent by normalised population).

I've never attempted it so I don't have any first-hand judgements of its effectiveness. However, the logic in the article seems reasonable. A backyard which already has a high population of mosquitoes implies the area has existing spots with standing water where the eggs are being hatched. Adding controlled spots of water would concentrate those eggs there and kill them off before they have a chance to hatch more eggs and add to the population. Then, the existing adults die off naturally within weeks, and you should be left with a "mosquito free yard"

You sound like you have your own issues to resolve if you are this exhausted by work, which doesn't mean the article is a parody just because you are not its exact intended recipient. There are a handful of tips in there that can help engineer more comfortable situations for people who are less confident networking. That's only if someone is willing to engage with the advice and wishes to better themselves with it, instead of just blaming... capitalism?

Outdoor billboards, product placement, sponsor logos on sports uniforms - yes

Content marketing, public relations, mailing lists - no

"we don't have to destroy all advertising at once to make a positive difference"

It seems awkward because removing the parenthical expression between the commas leaves a broken sentence:

"The data wasn't erroneous|who are legally forbidden to discuss tax filings."

The best correction would be something like:

"Treasury officials, who are legally forbidden to discuss tax filings, found the data wasn't erroneous."
