people saying " you shouldn't do it" makes them feel good.Or maybe it's compassion in a lot of cases. But,a lot of times, it's selfish. It's like the people that give to panhandlers so they whether look good in the eyes of others or think that their soul is going to be saved.
that's normally what happens if you tell them you feel suicidal(by them I mean nurses,social workers..). They'll call the cops. You'll get to your place and the cops will be there asking you if you're ok. It's sucks when it happens and you already don't like the cops. It doesn't help.

yeah seriously. I'm teaching myself how to program and for the last year, I ve been spending an average of 10 hours a day reading, practicing,studying Python and JavaScript. I m just getting into concepts like Test Driven Development and design patterns. I m a disciplined guy. But, saying this is like saying: " How I became an astronomer in 12 weeks". It's not just the theory, It's the experience that comes with time and things you realize by making mistakes that make you become something.
I also find the second one too crowded for a splash page. It looks more like a page that I would see as an introduction. A More in-depth exploration of the site.(with animation and fireworks!!).
