Agree, I think it is more that you left the door unlocked when you meant for it to be locked and the mailman opened the door to yell "Hello??" but no one was home, so he let you know the door is unlocked. :)

Took the train home yesterday and was sitting behind someone watching a movie. I couldn't connect to the trains Wi-Fi, though I tried the whole trip :(. I really wish I would have brought a movie to keep me company rather then watching their login page load.

Seems pretty short sighted. There is so much being created that is connected to the internet. You say you don't need high bandwidth for these things and I would say that is because they are made with the fact that there are a lot of customers who don't have the higher bandwidth. Give everyone more bandwidth and just think of what we could create!

I wouldn't say missing start menu button was "fixed" in 8.1. All they did was put a button there that had the same functionality as that corner without a button already had.

Agreed. It's amazing the conditions of some of the Cessna's that come in to where I work... It's often insanely difficult to tell how old it is just by looking at it (Though not every aircraft is taken care of the same).

IMO if you are in charge of handling users in a community you shouldn't be taking down people due to ifference of opinion of even people you just don't like... If it is your own personal project, sure, but otherwise it should take something more then a few heated words (which personally I didn't find heated at all..) to be banned from something. Reading the post I felt that the admin was acting more childish.

Everyone I say to myself "Gosh darn it I'm switching my main desktop so that it boots Linux by default today!" it never ends well. Example: I like to play LoL, I got it to run under wine (though nowhere near Windows performance) and just say screw it and go back to Windows. That and the fact that patches like to break things a lot. I am really hoping that Steam for Linux pushes a lot more companies to port their games to Linux so that I can finally switch over.

Agreed. English is already just a mash up, I could care less about grammar so long as what you are trying to say is getting across to me. Certain areas require a comma or period otherwise can be read wrong but I have never had a problem with their, your, its, or any other such words confusing me into not understanding what the writer is trying to say...

Reminds me of growing up "Ain't ain't a word!"

Agree. I have enormous social anxiety that completely wipes out my thought process... But give me a project to do with a due date (ex a school project due in 2 days) and the stress from that actually motivates me to get it done and does not mash my brain up like the stress of being in a social situation like a interview.
