I tried previous iterations of JetBrain's AI without much love, but need to look at Junie.

Using Windsurf plugins in JB ides has been working for me, albeit not as powerful yet as the Windsurf VS Code fork.

Decided not to wear the life jacket whilst kayaking in Thailand. A speedboat came around the corner, then straight at me, such that I rolled off the kayak into the water. Whilst I still was struck by the propeller, I expect that I'd be gone had I been wearing the jacket.

I was also extremely lucky that I ended up having down and got hit in the butt as, to others, there's nothing that suggests I was in such a traumatic accident.

Beyond Petra 7 years ago

Absolutely - and regarding Jordan, whilst Petra was a definitely worth the visit, there's so much more to Jordan that has me wanting to return, not least, the people.

edit: typo

Is that architecture helpful for a saas app that needs to support users from corporate customers using single sign-on via an OIDC or SAML provider like Azure AD or ADFS?

I looked into using Okta or Auth0 for this sort of setup, but both were prohibitively expensive for a saas app.

Can't help but think this was just a marketing error. Had they called the OS something like SurfaceOS instead of WinRT, perhaps the expectation would have been something more accepted, akin to iOS and MacOS.

Medium Sucks 13 years ago

I've never thought of Medium as a blogging platform but rather an article publishing platform with tools to encourage conversation and sharing around each article.

I don't have the study, but I do have my own experience. About 5 years ago I was lucky to survive being hit by the propellor of a speedboat. I was struck across the sacrum, crushing nerves and fracturing both the sacrum and tailbones, as well as a deal of laceration for good measure. There is always a pressure, stiffness and dull spinal ache and occasional acute pain - though fortunately not too often for the latter.

Anyway, I find now that if I do any duration of impact-based activity that I will pay for it; I feel each impact in my spine, though that is bearable for a while, but the next day my lower spine and sacral area will be stiff and sore. Whereas when I swim there is neither immediate nor consequential pain relating to the injury.

It's lucky that I'm a lazy bastard and didn't intend on running anyway :p

Frankly, I don't care whether David's post is this or that. What I care about is the point - optimise your life for happiness and recognise that happiness is in the doing, in the living, not the outcome.

Sadly, for those families where the iPad is just another shared computing device, it would appear that there is still no multi-user support. Bummer.
