Sort of. It's important to point out that there are effects other than death. However, he's exaggerating like crazy, possibly by accident. Issue is that most of these complications happen to the same people. Young healthy people are nearly always fine. The virus is likely widespread in the military, and deaths/lasting impacts are minimal. Older, sicker, fatter people suffer an array of adverse consequences. In other words, the machine is highly biased depending on your circumstances. 1 in 100 is the worst case. Policy does not reflect this.

This is one of the dumbest things I've read in a while. America practically created the modern world, in ways good (transportation, electronics, medicine) and bad (modern warfare). But sure, the fact that you dont like the president negates all of that. Still the wealthiest country in human history, and it's not close. Please just look, for one second, at how the poorest Americans compare to the rest of the world. Its a positive story. Always more to be done, but take a step back once in a while and appreciate how amazing the world we live in is.

Um. There are a lot of cliches in this post. Also a cliched meme. Technically not buzzwords, I suppose, but maybe be a bit less harsh if you're not going to be creative in your use of language either?

Have to comment on this - so the fact that the owner of the largest electric car company in the world and a huge solar company really liked policies that would cripple his competition is surprising? This is not exactly principled opposition here.
