I remember trying this on macOS a while ago and I'm sure it had some odd quirks where things didn't work as expected which put me off using it, I'll have to try it again. There used to be a native macOS app called Cathode which was similar but it's been abandoned
The irony is that the future of scrollbars, especially with narrow webpages and wide monitors, could have been minimaps. But instead we got disappearing scrollbars and reading indicators…
The only unexpected gesture I had was the swipe back/forward a page (I've had the same issue on mobile as well) but I just disable this particular gesture. Which gestures did you find that you accidentally triggered?

Scroll indicators are fine if they stay visible. The default on mobiles and macOS is that the scroll indicator disappears once you stop scrolling. There was a webpage where I couldn't tell that an area was scrollable until I found out by accident, at which point I enabled the scrollbars to always show on macOS as I didn't want to get tripped up by that again
I remember I had one of the early Android phones and there was a bug where if the phone had been sleeping for too long (i.e. with the screen off) the alarm either wouldn't sound or would come on late. Try explaining to people that you were late because your alarm was faulty, they will just think you're making excuses.
This is partly why you should have two (as well as if one breaks). If you lose both then you probably need to work on looking after your valuables better.
Any browser on iOS is forced to use the Safari rendering engine. Firefox on Android is very different to iOS
Windows 7 was considered by many to be the last version before Microsoft really started screwing things up. I am pretty certain there will be people on it for decades
I think a lot of companies jumped on dark mode without considering the proper colours needed. I've started using light mode again and I've found that the colour choices are much better, but YMMV.
