Has 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 puzzles. Generating 7x7 puzzles is long process and i think i may have to do it on cloud, but am planning to release them soon.
Seems like openAI spent ~7B on inference in first half of the year. Their revenue was 4B in the same time. They spent another 5B on rnd to deprecate their own, and rest of industry's assets.

Started as a game programmer in 2019 then graphics and now web. I love working for startups. Can adapt to new tech stacks quickly and a good team player.
That is for a governing body to look out for. NOT private companies. Governments have a job to run massive programs for socioeconomic welfare without carrying about profit.
Someone has to do it. Big pharma has a lot of money and if AI can reduce their costs in human resources, they will be willing to put some of their profits aside to further the research in AI space.
Money wells are drying up across the trch Industry and ai companies will have to look for funds from adjacent industries like biotech and medicine.
Did anyone else notice that the base storage has been upgraded to 512G? I knew this was coming after iPhone 17s storage upgrade!

Whats the point? These models are still unreliable in every day work. And they're getting fat! For a moment, they were getting cheaper, but now they are only getting bigger and this is not going to be cheap in the future. The point is, what are we investing a trillion dollars in?
I mean, progress is already getting slow in llm development space and their qwen models are, well, good enough for time being. Meanwhile, its good for the world that they are working on their own chips, that way nVidia will have to stop being comfortable.
This is step in good direction for everyone except nvidia and its chinese distribution network

Given how much these CEOs are hallucinating these days while hopelessly losing money on every venture they pursue, I think AI is leaps and bounds ahead of these idiots for decision making.
How much has the whole industry invested in AI vs how much revenue has AI generated in total?
I havent seen a single case apart from coding where end user has appreciated a clanker integration into their software!
The problem is open ai's deal with the devil (microsoft) where they own a copyright to all the models that open ai produces until AGI. So what is the moat driving that $300B valuation?
I really hate to pirate, but when publishers are in bed with scums like amazon and ignore these acts of greed, they might as well deal with piracy because we really need a tool to humble them

Gemini is by far the most confusing product of all time. The paid version for it is available in 3 forms: 1. Gemini pro (which gets you more google drive storage and some form of access to veo so people obviously get that) 2. Google AI studio, just to piss off redmond devs and which is used by no one outside google 3. This CLI, which has its own plan.
Then there are 3rd party channels, if you have a recent samsung phone, you get 1 yr access to AI features powered by gemini, after which you need to pay. And lord knows where else has google been integrating gemini now.
Ive stopped using google's AI now. Its like they have dozens of teams within gemini on completely different slack sessions.
Rain can deposit water in seas or lands away from country's border. Anyhow its always efficient and easy to collect water from a running river on its way to sea.
Data centres can be designed to harvest the steam / evaporated water and reuse it but thats expensive too and they might not choose to do so.
There is a problem with these llms though which is that these companies will have to keep spending massive amounts of money on research unless they solve major issues with these models. These models are inherently depreciating assets and they depreciate almost fully within months as soon as either they or their competitors come out with a new model.
For eg. Claude was undoubtedly the best model for software devs until gemini 2.5 was released and now i see people divided with majority of them leaning towards Gemini.
And there is very little room for mistakes, as we have seen how llama became completely irrelevant in matter of months.
So while inference in itself can be profitable (again thats a big *), these companies will have to keep fighting for what it looks like decades unless one of them actually solves hallucinations and re constructs computer interfacing at a global scale!
I think veo and other generative video startups will find their place in advertisement space. I recently saw a pharma ad and its so convincing. Apparently it was generated with just $500 credit, and i know that this price will have to go up multi folds for it to be profitable but given that these ads cost 100s of thousands to make in 1 language, I dont think we have anything against making ads with AI if they save us so much money and can generate same ad in multiple languages.
But he did make good points though. AI was perceived more dangerous when only select few mega corps (usually backing each other) were pushing its capabilities.
But now, every $50B+ company seems to have their own model. Chinese companies have an edge in local models and the big tech seems to be fighting each other like cats and dogs for a tech which has failed to generate any profit while masses are draining the cash out from the companies with free usage and ghiblis.
What is the concrete business model here? Someone at google said "we have no moat" and i guess he was right, this is becoming more and more like a commodity.
